My mother gets money from the government in the form of unemployment and later will for disability. She was diagnosed with lupus so had to quit work and they allowed her to have unemployment until her disability goes through. Shes a wreck. I would never had thought I would need a sponsor or want one but after seeing that my employer cant provide us with any legit documents aside from signed computer typed documents of our payment history i worry they will be denied immediately. So the question.... Am i able to use a co-sponsor who is getting support from the gov? Im guessing no.

If you make enough and provide the signed document that states your payment history from them, plus a few months of recent pay stubs and/or bank statements showing your payment deposits, then it should be okay to prove current income. You might not need a co-sponsor, but if you still want one lined up just in case the CO asks for one, disability(SSDI) does indeed count as income for an affidavit of support.
