Hope someone can help. I just called NVC; they said they received my case from USCIS on 28th. I ask for the case number. She said it's not entered into system yet so she can’t give me the case number. I asked her can I email you the ds 3032, she said not yet, I have to wait till they enter it into the system. I though they will assign case number as soon as they scan it then in couple weeks they will enter the case manually into the system to generate IV & AOS. Please advice is there anything I can do to avoid delays. Thanks in advance for your help!

hi,

get ready to do a little bit of waiting :)NVC is a slow poke but no worries its much faster than USCIS. First, once they get your stuff from USCIS it will take them about 2-4 wks to get your case number assigned. Although you should call every day, or everyday and bother them for your case number. Once you get your case number, give them your and your beneficiaries email to the operator, from there you can email your ds 3032 to them, and then you will get your first bill to pay the AOS.... once paid send your stuff out... and remember you cant pay your IV until your DS 3032 is accepted by NVC and that usually takes 5-10 business days after you email it out....and once you pay your IV bill mail that out and hopefully case complete... then wait for a date for interview to be assigned...

And get use to them telling you "20 business days" they will tell you that for everystep of the way but its not really true :):bonk:

to avoid delays, make sure your AOS and Iv are filled out correctly and all the required paperwork is there, :star:
