IRS Tax Transcripts-the FREE ones

My Mom ordered her tax transcripts from the IRS hotline (the free ones) earlier this week and they came in yesterday. The don't look nearly as official as I thought they would. They are just about 10 or so 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of computer print outs with my Mom's SSN and then a bunch of dollar figures. There are no real explainations and it doesn't even say the "Internal Revenue Service" on them anywhere. Are these going to suffice? They look so....unofficial.

I think they are simple printouts of line items on standard paper. I am surprised there is no form # up in the corner

Yes that is exactly what I got when I ordered them from the IRS. I guess this an acceptable format.

And I received the same thing. They asked me what it was for when I called to order. So I don't suppose they would look any different if they were for a different purpose.

Good enough for me, anyway!!!
