Hello, I just wanted you and those of you who feel that chats/emails etc cannot be looked at are wrong. In Morocco, during my fiances interview, he was presented with a piece of paper pertaining chats from 2006 with a girl he had chatted with in the USA. Did they not only ask him about this girl, they knew her name, her present address and her cell phone number. They asked my fiance, so tell me about this girl and have you since been in contact with her via phone, email, yahoo, etc. before applying for this K1. My fiance told the CO about her and then they asked if your fiance knew about this girl. The chats were from yahoo and msn and they were deleted years ago before I even met my now husband, so not only did they have his deleted chats they questioned him on it.

So YES it can happen...

Oh my God! That's scary, I didn't even know it was possible to access deleted chat logs. Well I'm glad it worked out for you and your husband, and thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll be better off knowing the conversation exists so that if anything he can explain at the interview that it was all a misunderstanding and I can easily confirm.

He got furious because he got caught, not because you're being irrational. Which you aren't.

USCIS won't know, and it won't impact your K1, but it should impact how you move ahead with this decision. Is this someone you really want to marry? He doesn't seem to take your feelings or concerns very seriously, based on this little information you've given us. And he doesn't seem to take his committment to you seriously either.

If the kind of behavior that you describe here is acceptable to you, then you don't have any problems.

If this is a person that I was involved with...well it would not b a person i would be involved with.

Unless you have an "open relationship" or something that falls under that category...you have some signs in front of you...before your visa completion and might want to address them now before you get into deeper with this male.

Also saying this is how the French are??? Yes I dont have a French Husband...but I am not sure how that would make it acceptable...

Yes my husband was pretty much stunned about that as well especially interviewing in Morocco where they try to find any negative information to deny you. Honestly, he was very lucky it was a man interviewing him and not those women who are notorious to hang a man there for anything when it comes to getting a visa to the USA.

I forgot to mention previously. In January, we had our AOS interview done separately. It was not a stokes as she didn't ask us the same questions only routine questions. Guess what was one of the questions to my husband???? Have you had any contact with the person (her name) since the day you arrive in the USA? YEP they still were gonna go there with him and try to ruff his feathers during the interview. She was a very nice lady during our interview, but man oh man do they really look out for the U.S. Citizens. Honestly, I am very glad they did ask him these questions, not just here but on his K1 interview in Morocco. If for any reasons, they would have told me that he was still online chatting with other women, his #### would have stayed in Morocco forever and that's just how I see it.

Awww the NSA, despite how much we think that the NSA is just some evil secret society I really think it does a lot of good. We can only fathom how many threats are constantly apparent in the US (I imagine it is a lot). I am just glad that our country is doing something about it and not sitting on their butts doing nothing. Kiss any privacy you had left goodbye forever.
