So, I got a call from my husband and he was crying (not the usual) Jamaican's in general do not like to see or hear anyone crying, especially a man!! So to hear him cry was hard. I asked him, what is wrong he said "I just miss my wife" :( :( :( .. I usually am the one crying or crabby. That was hard for me to hear. I love him and miss him so much. He, by far is the Strength in our marriage. Love you baby, soon come....

01/06/2012- Married My best friend

05/09/2012- Mailed I-130 via Fed Ex

5/10/2012- I-130 has been received & Signed for at the Chicago lockbox at 10:23 am

05/14/2012- Received NOA1 via Text Message

05/17/2012- Received NOA1 via Snail Mail(Postmarked 5/15/2012)

07/27/2012- 9:36 am Received NOA2 via text message (thought it was a dream)

07/30/2012- Started calling the NVC to see if case has been received

08/02/2012 -Called NVC- Rep told me that NVC Received Package 07/30/2012 (Still no case# assigned)

08/16/2012 -Called NVC- Information has been entered and received my case number (Yahooo)

08/24/2012- AOS Bill invoiced and paid

08/30/2012- Emailed the DS-3023

09/05/2012- Sent AOS (Affidavit of support) packet via Fed Ex (overnight)

09/06/2012- AOS Packet received

09/11/2012- Received email notification that the DS-3023 (Choice of Agent) has been accepted

09/13/2012- Received IV Bill

09/13/2012- Paid IV Bill

09/17/2012- IV marked as paid

09/17/2012- Sent IV Package (DS-230) via Fed Ex

09/18/2012- IV Package Received

09/18/2012- AOS Packet Accepted

09/25/2012- Called NVC and found out I have an RFE

09/26/2012- Received RFE via EMAIL

10/01/2012- Sent original divorce documentation (RFE) via Fed Ex overnight

10/15/2012- CASE COMPLETE (Yahoooooooooooo)

10/23/2012- Case complete email received..

11/02/2012- Called DOS and received interview date

11/05/2012- Received email with check list and appointment date

11/20/2012- Medical Completed

12/03/2012- Interview Scheduled

12/24/2012- Entered the USA and got to MN at 12:08 am on 12/25/2012 Merry X-Mas to us

Oh I am sorry to hear this. You are not alone on this rocky up hill climb. Sometimes I get pissed at my husband for acting slow, sometimes i am so happy. I ###### about the simple things then when a few days pass I regain strength feeling as if i am ready once more for this. Yesterday i found myself telling him babe i hate to hear you say I dont know lol. Oh my at times its so hard to realize :devil: he miss me as much as i miss him. Other times I find myself only talking immigration stuff to him when he call. i keep forgetting things like babe how was your day, etc. don't worry you are not alone. :innocent:

Awww I hope you guys are together soon. It's tough. Hang in there! I too am waiting. Sometimes I find it particularly hard, especially when he's working late and I might not be able to speak to him that day.

2003 - Met online.

Feb 2011 - Reunited online :)

Feb 2011 - Apr 2011 - Kept in touch every single day.

May 5th, 2011 - Met in person in Montreal <3 Knew we were meant to be.

July 21, 2011 - Met in person in Seattle, WA. Started talking of marriage and filing.

Nov 21, 2011 - Filed for K-1 Visa

Nov 24, 2011 - Received NOA1

Mar 23, 2012 - Met in Montreal as happy fiances. Proposal in person. <3

April 21, 2012 - Received approved NOA2

Sometime in May, 2012 - Received packet 3 letter.

this process is so hard, the same here with my husband and I, he never used to cry and he would. His emotions flow and it kills me. He's like we've been apart for so long and now we're apart again!! oh Hurry up VSC will you.

Sometimes the distance gets to me so much, I too feel like I want to cry, especially when I go over our photos and remember all the happy times we shared together, it gets really hard. It has really been tougher on me lately, as she is now expecting and going through all those changes and I'm not there to be at her side. :(

I can really relate to your husband. Some of us Jamaican guys are just real, and will not let ego causes us to try to conceal our true feelings. But I know exactly how he feels.

i think we all feel the same way. Its the hardest thing t be away from our other half. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel:) My husband isnt a man who cries at all but he has broken down on me from being so far apart. Distance makes the heart grow fonder!!
