Hey folks how long does it take to get instructions on what to do after paying the IV bill? I have already sent my AOS and tax returns and such, do I need to send these again? I have no clue as to what I am doing here, and could really use the help. thanks

If you already paid the IV bill and the status is showing "PAID" then you print off the receipt and submit it along with all the other documents for the IV package. This should be the last step for you and will get "Case Complete" once they accept it (unless you get an RFE for anything).

(forget all this for now, let's go on holiday!)

04/05/2012: Received interview appt email

06/22/2012: Medical @ Knightsbridge

06/29/2012: Interview 8am-Result: Pending

You might want to go to the NVC Filers - May 2012 forum and check the information in the first two posts. You're almost at case complete, but you have to be proactive in staying on top of your case and the next steps. Oh, and forgot to mention you MUST print off the barcoded cover sheet that was attached to the email with subject line "STD AIVF"...(something like that) and place it on top of all other civil documents when you mail the pkg.

when you mail the pkg.

OP, did you opt for Electronic Processing at the NVC (it's available for China), if you did, then you would not be mailing anything to the NVC, you would be emailing the package to the NVC as a pdf attachment.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
