After we got married last year we applied to change my wife name who is the "Beneficially" on his ID. it took about 9 month to get the new ID. Mean while we applied the petition with his Fathers name and all document we sent to them had his surname as the "fathers Name" because the Name change took to long.

my question is now that she has the new ID with the surname as my name, and after applying for the Good conduct with he new ID. will it be an issue in the NVC to give them the Police certificate with my name?

Thanks in Advance

Ndungu, I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Are you asking if it's OK to give the NVC your wife's police certificate with her new last name??? If that's your question, then I don't see why not. If you are unsure, then you can provide them with both...one with her maiden name, and the new one with her married name.

I hope that helps.

OK, it should be fine...if it's not, I'm sure they will let you know. All the best :star:
