Anything that "proves" your life together.

These can be, mortgages or rental agreements with both name proving residence in the same place

House bills showing both names - phone/utilities ect

Insurance coverage - health, car, life

Photos of the two of you together

Bank statements showing both of you listed

joint tax returns

You may have not have all the above, and they dont expect you to with the short time that you have been together, but get whatever you can.

Best of luck

I would not be happy about having a local interview. It means they want to deny you and they do not want to waste any more of the governments time or energy approving the petition. Your husband has immigration issues and probably a ban for 10 years. USCIS wants to discuss your proof of a real marriage to man that wants to stay in the USA. They want to make sure you are not being used. They want to protect you.

You need to follow the advice in the last thread you started and always be honest with USCIS and yourself. He has serious issues with immigration. This local interview is not for fun and it is not to approve you faster than others. It is to get to the truth and see what you know about him and his past.

Good Luck

Did you reschedule your airfare for your June 22nd vacation?

Without reading the OP's history, and only answering on the question at hand . . . I feel the response posted is quite alarming.

My petition was sent to Cali for processing, then returned to Dallas for interview . . . so what youre saying is that anyone hauled in for the interview is going in to it with a denial and has to fight for an approval ?

I find that rediculous. In our interview the officer was nothing but curteous and professional. I never got the vibe that we were in a denied situation and that we had to prove ourselves. We chatted, he asked maybe 5 pertinent questions and never asked for a piece of evidence to see. So I think freeking someone out with those comments are truly unwarranted.

Being called in for an interview is just that your name was pulled. The government has already done all their inspecting and back ground checks, the interview process is more of a formality. Although Im sure if someone is lying, their body language will give them away.

Please OP dont take this posters message to heart, I for one dont believe that all. I think if you were going to be denied, it wouldve happened by now.

Bring any and all evidence of meeting

pics with his family and yours together

phone bills

emails

chat

webcam photos

old car titles

vacation receipts

letters from family and friends stating they met you both and approve

mail you sent each other

flight tickets

bank accounts together

joint credit cards

loans together

children together (birth certificates)

I really wish you the best and hope I am wrong

Good Luck

After this interview they will usually make you wait longer then a year for NOA2. One person has waited over 2 years now. So, get your congressman involved now to stay on top of information.

Brendavera, nobody here wants to upset you. We want to help inform you so you aren't blind going in. You have nearly a month to research what path your case might take, use it to your advantage. Answer every question honestly and directly. It will save you a lot of trouble later...trust me on that. I know people in your position who went in naive and came out asking & looking for all the answers wasting time by being angry & lashing out when they could have been putting together the best waiver possible.

Good luck to you, and if you need help with anything just ask!

You should have read her background. Her husband entered and tried to leave without inspection. He got caught at the border. She has immigration issues, that is why her case was transferred. She'd didn't just get picked out of a hat. This is not going to be easy for them.

Yours was for AOS from a K-1. Not the same type of interview that is being talked about here. This OP is the USC and being called for an interview in the US alone regarding her spousal visa petition. Her husband was previously in the US illegally.
