Change of address AR-11 Doubts

Hello everyone!!

I entered the US on feb 19 with my 3 kids as K1 and K2, im already married (yay!!) and aplied for AOS.

My kids already received their AP on the mail, and i have my EAD. My biometricals were taken as well as the kids, and we have the green card app on 6-18th

We are moving this friday to other state, and im trying to fill the AR-11 but im not sure about some questions.

It asks "I am in the United States as a: Visitor, Permanent Resident, Student, other (specify)"

So im not sure what should i answer, my first thought was K1, but i know im not K1 anymore, but im not permanent resident yet either, so there i need HELP!

Also in the end it asks: "If not Permanent Resident, my stays in the U.S. expires on: (Date-mm/dd/yyyy)"

So as i married and applied for AOS my stay should not have an expiration date, but also im still not a permanent resident, so again i have no idea what to state there.

Wish someone can help. THX!!

Hi.I tried to change the AR11online as well and it was a pure nightmare. Cuz it won't let me skip certain boxes even I didn't had to fill them out,it wouldn't let me complete it. So I gave up after minutes of frustration and called the hotline.so simple and easy ,it was fast done. I would recommend u to call the uscis hotline.

Hi again!! I just called the hot line as u suggested, im not so lucky with them since i started my i-129F :bonk: But i called anyway, this time i decided to do it in spanish, the rep gave me instructions to fill it online:

First she said im a permanent resident, but then she said I have to answer im a K1 and that my stay in the US expires on the day my I-94 shows, because is the last info i had.

Then she said I dont have an expiration day coz visas K1 dont have expiration  i was like emmm, yes they do have expiration, u have to marry to stay, if not ur visa expires, she said yes ma'am thats why it dont have expiration, because u married.

And to finish she said im not an inmigrant so i should fill it as none inmigrant  ......

In other words, I DONT KNOW!!!!! HAHAHA

And i had the really bad idea to think ok may be call again, now in English, the rep was reallyyyyyyy BAD. She repeat 10 times if i want her to take my change of address, or i can do it online or by mail, she repeated the site to make it online over and over. Till i said i have told her many times i want her to take the change of address. She was talking as she was willing to sleep not to work, (i have been custommer service rep during 5 years, so this really make me feel mad) And after 25 minutes of talking the only thing she asked was case number and zip code!!!! Then she keep repeating i have a case pending with USCIS, my case number is, my biometrical was on day, i have app on day.. and bla bla bla!!!! So i just told her have a good day, that she is not helping at all, and i rather do it online even if i do it wrong than spend the whole day talking to her.

Anywa THX!! for the answer Tinchen, I tried!!!! :luv:

Nothing to be sorry about!! This is try and learn hahahaha, and i guess we are all learning here, we could work as supPort soon, WE KNOW MORE THAN THEM!!!!

Is really good we have the forum to help eachother, we would be lost if not!

Well here is what i did. Just in case it will be useful for someone else in the future:

Went to fill the change of address online.

1-Accepted terms and conditions (of course)

2-Change of address for a NONE US citizen.

3-Then name and bla bla, Then " im in the US as a" i just listed OTHER and then down typed "AOS Pending"

4-Completed all the boxes with a red *

5-Last box "If not permanent resident my state in the US expires on:" I just left that box blank

It went thru with no problems, also offers a printable file for records with the confirmation code, after that shows another link to update info with my case pending for USCIS too, so it was good as It updated my address for USCIS and DHS (homeland security).

yayayaya it worked. last desperate option would have been fill the form out and send it in per mail lol hehehe

did u updated your address for ur cases as well???i mean the other link???

yeah i know right we all could start working for USCIS, oh maybe i apply there lol heheheeh. but then we might be over qualified to work for them, cuz we actually would work and get cases done lol

or work as an immigration service center.
