wohoo in the usa but i have a question

so yeah we got the the states alhumduillah but anyways i have a question.

Unknown to me at the time of the processing and the processing at the POE in Dallas, My address in the states had been changed due to some rezoning for firedepartments Its the same house and everything but the city goverment gave it a new address, as we only got to the usa last friday what should i do to make sure that her GC will have the correct address??

Timeline

If you have your references number, you can register for updates with USCIS at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp. Once Registered there are options available for Change of Address.

Did your zipcode change? If not most likely there would not be any issue your mail would still be delivered and if it was a major re-zoning than I am sure USPS is aware of it and would continue to bring the right mail to the address.

I believe you can also make an infopass appointment and get the address updated on their files.

no its still the same zipcode , i just dont want anyone there thinking we trying to be sneaky we arent, i really just didnt knwo that the address had changed while i was gone i did everything with the one i knew and had no problems through the process but i got here and found out the numbers changed lol
