Hi guys!!

Finally, i got an emailed from NVC saying that i do have a case number. I guess its a good idea to email the NVC I did emailed them 3 times and they always respond my email. So if u have time, better email them and inquire on ur case rather than calling the NVC Good luck to all of us! God bless!

I followed the instructions from another post I found here on VJ:

Put your INS receipt number in the subject line (nothing else)

In the body:

Petitioner: Your Name

Beneficiary: Her Name DOB:

I did that and received a reply with NVC case number in the subject line.

My case was approved Oct 2nd and keyed in at NVC on Oct 10.

Here is what is left in Sept 2006.

9-1-06 = 3

9-5-06 = 4

9-6-06 = 1

9-7-06 = 11

9-8-06 = 5

9-11-06 = 9

9-12-06 = 2

9-13-06 = 3

9-14-06 = 2

9-15-06 = 3

9-18-06 = 7

9-19-06 = 12

9-20-06 to 9-29-06 (almost everyone is left minus two people).

I updated the time line again tonight for Oct 14.

Hi guys I am happy that finally i do have a case number. As u noticed on my timeline. my fiancee received the NOA2 last sept 23. After that, i decided to email the NVC Oct 2 Then.. i emailed them again oct 6.. my last email was oct 9... Guess writing email helps cause some who called, they are just told to wait for like 90 days. the email addy is ..NVCInquiry@state.gov

on subject: i write.. quiry on case receipt no.....

Dear Sir or Madam,

Good day! I just want to inquire if u received our approved case WAC06 . Thank u so much! God bless!

Respectfully yours,

....

That what i write and they informed me that. they already :

Dear Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the NVC. The non-immigrant visa petition you mentioned in your letter has already been entered into our computer system and assigned the case number MNL2006.

You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy.

You are serious? You wrote an official inquiry to the NVC by using IM-chatspeak? "if u received"? "Thank u so much"?

I don't care how you write online in forums, but I would highly recommend that when communicating formally with the government that you use proper business English.

Nevertheless, congrats on getting your NVC #.
