I submitted I-129F to USCIS (CSC) in Feb 2012 for my fiancee and now the case is pending.

It is later that I found this forum and learnt many useful things from here. It seems that I may miss some documents necessary :( .

I want to send another addendum to my previous application to avoid RFE delay. Could you please tell me which address it should be sent to? The same one where I submitted the first package or CSC address directly?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!:yes:

i think you waited to long, i don't think the documents will match up now in the system.wait an see if you get a RFE. if you do get a RFE just send them what they want.this way your not guessing what they are asking for.

i wouldnt send without a RFE any documents, cuz they wouldnt know what case the documents are for . it might get all lost.

all you can do know is wait for an RFE and then respond to that.

wow, how ironic . . .I did the exact same thing I sent only the documents that I read on the instructions with the form then I found this website and low and behold I did not send nearly enough. I am waiting for my RFE (which I am sure I am going to get). That way I will respond to it with whatever they are asking for . . now I am reading that an RFE might delay things further . . wish I would have found this site before . . . I knew I have to supply evidence of our relationship but I thought I could do this when I am called down for an interview . . .

Wait for the RFE. Get everything ready so that when you receive it, you send it back quickly and it only delays you a few weeks.

Thanks a lot for your guys time and help!

I understand I may have to wait, but it is the time that is really a problem. Say if I get a RFE and respond back, will they process right away? normally how they handle a RFE? Is there a time table for RFE just like regular application process in different service center?

Thanks !!!

I'm afraid i's not that you MAY have to wait; you simply don't have another choice.

If you send extra information now, to be added to your petition, they won't be able to do so. IF they believe you need to send that extra information, they will send the RFE and you'll be able to reply. It will set you back a few weeks (no one can tell you with certainty how many as each case is unique).

Nothing you can do now, but wait.

This is an instance when an RFE is a boon. You can include what USCIS asks for, and also send evidence of bona fide relationship that USCIS will pass on to the consulate.

Consulates CAN ignore (or refuse to accept) evidence that's brought to the interview, but they are NOT supposed to disregard materials that they know USCIS has seen. This is why front-loading of petition packages is so valuable or even crucial when the interview will be at a tough or ####### consulate. Responding to an RFE and including extra evidence of bona fide relationship accomplishes the same thing as original front-loading of the petition would have, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
