HOLY SMOKES! I'm scheduled for interview!!!!! :thumbs:

I'd checked my status earlier today - no change. Just a moment ago, I got a text, then an email... yep yep!!! FINALLY!

I am flying back to Canada tomorrow for 2 weeks to take care of my Mom who had a medical setback. I was there in November too. I printed copies of my itineraries for my USCIS file to bring with me so I can tell the Officer of my travels. Total 24 days, so I'm good there - I am not even close to any excess.

Guess I'll bring my flash cards with me so Mom can help me study!!! :dance:

The letter will arrive after I leave, of course, but I'll have my better half keep an eye open for it and let me know the date as soon as it arrives. w00t!

Thank you, MamaSue! Hopefully you're up in this batch too, you're only a couple of days behind me. On Trackitt, someone who filed 6/19 with a priority date of 7/3, also got their update today too. Back in the beginning they posted to me, "let us travel together" - so I guess that's happening. We don't know our actual dates yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same day - or at least very close.

Much to do - just got home from work... late... trying to get things ready for my absence. Happy, though!

Posting from Toronto this morning - awaiting a connecting flight. Mom sounds better today (called her a few mins ago)... one more leg of my trip til I'm back in my hometown again. I think just knowing I'm on my way makes her feel better, and she might be released from hospital tomorrow. Good news all around, methinks!

HOLY SMOKES! I'm scheduled for interview!!!!! :thumbs:

I'd checked my status earlier today - no change. Just a moment ago, I got a text, then an email... yep yep!!! FINALLY!

I am flying back to Canada tomorrow for 2 weeks to take care of my Mom who had a medical setback. I was there in November too. I printed copies of my itineraries for my USCIS file to bring with me so I can tell the Officer of my travels. Total 24 days, so I'm good there - I am not even close to any excess.

Guess I'll bring my flash cards with me so Mom can help me study!!! :dance:
