I am so glad I had my ceremony today.

It is like being born again in a impeccable court cover in Brown wood. They will talk for an hour or 50 minutes about the process. During that time they give all the Newly Wed some paper work to read at home. Then they sing the National Anthem, the pledge of allegiance. Then the judge talks of how our life can improve here. They distributed the certificates and my picture is so CUTE in there.

Thank you guys my Journey is over I will still come here to give you support guys.....

Many Congrats Coloso Am so glad that its finally over for you. Well, not quite since you are planning on sponsoring your father now. But atleast the agony ends for you. Did you make it for your exam, or has that been postponed. Since its finals week for me now, I am hitting the books until the 18th. Thats when I'll worry about the interview. Today I went to the ceremony came out of a class 10 minutes earlier got late to the ceremony, and then had a class at 4 after driving for an hour a barely made and I am exousted. I have to take sometime to celebrate.

GUYS I will always keep you in prayers... Keep it up..

Pathan you will probably have your letter next week or tomorrow it only takes 4 to 5 days maximum.

Hi all! Had my interview yesterday in NYC which went really well. Even though i had to wait for 5 hours to be called, the acceptance made my day ! They wouldn't give me an oath date on the same day though because it was already late but i should be receiving it in the mail within 2 weeks. Almost there :) !!!!!

Hi all! Had my interview yesterday in NYC which went really well. Even though i had to wait for 5 hours to be called, the acceptance made my day ! They wouldn't give me an oath date on the same day though because it was already late but i should be receiving it in the mail within 2 weeks. Almost there :) !!!!!

Congratulations mayfilerpali. Nearing the end of your journey. I am awaiting my letter, which I should be receiving in a day or two. Am not sure, if I'll be interviewed at Long Island city or Holtville, Long Island. The interview letter will make it clear. I hope they give me an oath letter on the spot, if I pass. Don't have the stamina to wait for yet another letter from USCIS. Hope you receive your oath letter soon. I have a feeling, it might be a date beyond this year.

PS: And congratulations on being recognized as a STATE!!!!!!!

My Oath Ceremony this morning,took only an hour

now I'm officially a US CITIZEN!

Looks like I can say that my immigration journey is over!

But I am thinking of how I can petition my son who is now

married,so more likely I would be here on visa journey for

another time.

Please someone help me update my timeline.

I'll be praying for others that their immigration journey will

be over too.I know how it takes up our time but those efforts will

be paid off once that Certificate is in our hands.
