I finally got an email today that they sent out my oath letter. Last Thursday they said they sent me an RFE. I'm not sure if you all remember, I had my interview 10/15 and my case was sent to Panel because I had registered to vote. I submitted all the evidence to the office that same day. I'm elated right now.

Thanks, yep, still waiting. Not much else I can do, so it seems.

I see that USCIS updated their processing times today. Now Atlanta is at 5.5 months. National Average is 5.1 months. Goal is still 5 months.

So in another week I'll be right at 5.5 months...

Hope so - soon at least. That 5.5 was as of Oct. 30th according to their site. Heck it might me 6 now...or 7... LOL!

Maybe I'm realistic in hoping I'm done by the end of February :)

You're right, Grassy....

I checked this morning too...It says Atlanta is processing from mid-May now.... so we'll be due in Feb..which is pretty bad. as we're away from Feb 3rd to March 6th!!

If the letter comes while we're away, I might miss the interview!

Oh well....Infopass nearer the date, I think!! (just don't trust the phone no-help line!!):bonk:

Yeah the no-help line is just that. I can read the same stuff on the website. I haven't had a phone call back yet from the message I left on Tuesday morning (not holding my breath, either.)

What's odd is, people on Trackitt who filed at the end of May, have been scheduled for interview for several weeks, and some early May have their interviews this week (2 were sworn in 2 days ago - got a same-day oath after their interview on the 4th). They did file earlier in May - one was the 5th, the other was the 11th. They got their IL in early November.

Another who filed on 5/22 should have had his interview yesterday - he hasn't posted an update yet. One who filed 6/10 has his interview next Monday (12/10).

There are only 2 or 3 on that tracker that filed earlier than I did, who haven't received their letter yet - and we're all pretty close together on the filing dates so I hope that something gives soon. I know the people who post on these sites only represent a tiny fraction of filers, but it does help give an idea of processing times, as we're sort of a random sampling, as it were.

Maybe I couldn't open a service request because of the slow time in Atlanta... who knows?

Well... you've got nothing to lose by trying....I'll reach my 90 days on the 13th....I'll try and get a service request anyway....maybe pointless... maybe not, but still worth a try!! :)

I tried the other day - wouldn't go through on the website - "not out of processing time" and even the no-service lady tried and it wouldn't go through for her.

I may give it another go next week.
