Pathan you will get an SR soon just with the onine things you did if not... call again they have different representatives when I called some of them didn't pick up because they probably busy, other picked up and said they can not do a SR then I call another but before them I thought of a clever away to make them do a SR and it worked. Just keep calling and say the true one of them will do it... After an SR you will see the differences and how fast the process will go from there.

It seems that my previous call stirred somebody up coloso. I received a text/email today that I have been scheduled for an interview. I was surprised as i wasn't expecting an update on Saturdays/sundays. I was sitting in class when my cell buzzed and somehow knew that it had to be from USCIS as I don't have text messaging and only receive official texts for some reason Thank you so much for your support.

Grashoppr: I always thought that you would be ahead of me, but I want you to know that both of us were almost in a similar situation and filed from busy locations. If I received an interview, your's is definitely round the corner. I waanna hear the good news from you too and soon. I think that service request that i placed somehow shook my case. I'll keep you all updated.

Well it has been awhile since I have been here and look at all the red on the list!! Congratulations to you all that have completed your process. I am not sure what I last told you all. I had been living as a military spouse in England and despite me talking many times to the USCIS office there they did not schedule me due to the person that does the oath going on vacation. So after I had already left England they scheduled me for my interview and oath to occur on Sept 28 there. So bummed because I had to wait until we finished vacation and finally moved into our house to let USCIS in London specifically know my new address so they could forward it to the local Tucson, AZ office. So now this next interview is finally scheduled almost 100 days later. Also, from the looks of it most people are getting oath ceremonies 2 months after their interviews here. boo... None of my immigration process has gone quickly. but I guess it eventually gets done.

Thank you coloso for your support. Now I am starting to have the anxiety for the test/interview . I have been reading different threads and the actual ceremony ranges somewhere between 30-40 minutes. In total, other members have stated that it takes between 2 to 3 hours tops. My mother-in-law had hers a few months back at Holtsville, Long Island and she was done in 2 hours. I may face a similar fate as you for interview and the Oath as the finals are close and am also take a winter session. But, since this is an important day, DONOT miss it. Simply retain a copy of the Oath letter and your professor MUST accomodate you. I already spoke to my prof's and they were OK about it. Its an official matter, and School policies are very straight forward. Ask for a make-up exam if there is a conflict. Let me know how it goes. Am waiting for you Dec 6th Ceremony.

Thank you for the encouragement I will talk to my professors tomorrow... about it. Because I don't know if i am going to make it on time for one of the finals since the ceremony will be around 2 hours. I had the same anxity for the finals, Be quite sometimes they can be btiches listen.... they will try to trigger just don't pay attention to the Drama in the interview very important you stay neutral and quite i don't know why they are like that sometimes... Since she saw i stay calmed and never paid attention to her Drama she quite down and gave me an option to even have the Oath for the 6th.. They will know you are studying...... very important but they rush to mention it because it can be seen as you showing off.

You will be fine I am glad you went ahead and called over and over for the SR or so they can take you in consideration for the interview and things speed up GLAD very glad it is not fun to wait really.

Another day, another nothing. Tried an e-request online as I'm at 158 days since filing. It rejected my request stating that I'm within processing time (!!) So I guess I'll have to call. I have a busy day ahead so I may not get to it today, I'll need to do it when I have some time to sit on hold :-/

Well that was an effort in futility. I called- figured I'd do it before I got out into the world today. Got the same blurb as on the website. The customer service person tried to initiate a Service Request and it wouldn't let her either, even though she acknowledged that I'm outside of normal processing time (as of yesterday). I asked twice for a Tier 2 officer, she kept trying to put me off. Finally she agreed to transfer me, I had 2 options, to wait on hold (high call volumes) or leave a message - I chose the latter as I don't have all day to sit here on hold. So I left a phone message and the recording says they will try to get back to me in a few days.

The first tier agent told me that ATL is processing filers from May 2, which is weird because on Oct. 31st when I went to the DO for an Infopass, the agent there told me they were processing May filers at that time. Unless they had an insane amount of filers (May was 5 months before voter registration deadline, so I suppose it's possible) I can't see how they'd still be stuck there... and I know some June filers have already got their IL and some have even had their interview already.

She told me to wait another 60 days How discouraging is that?

I honestly don't think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing over there.

So the waiting continues....

Brother Grasshopp I kindly reach out to you to tell you it will all the depend on your determination and attitude at the time you talk to the Tier. It is simple, if they notice in your voice you need and you are determine they will do SR for you believe me no matter what No fears either, If not they will make you wait more... It is just a fact of recognizing the millions of deaths and sacrifices in all the wars... Just think about it that's why these people are on top. If you recognize all these deaths, brother looking at sister with one arm less, and sister looking her mom being raped. Think of all these awful things that might of happen in all these wars and bringing it to mind at the time you talk to a Tier 2 PLUS a BIG determination of wanting that Citizenship I swear, they will stop making you wait If you combine this two Brother I bet you will get a service request. Which all of us here want you to get it.

First of all I would not say that in representation of all Canadian but your special "patient", I don't think anybody's situation here is Grave instead it might be a good feeling to have an interview or an Oath a few steps away.

By the way when I meant wars I was referring to the wars United States have gone through and how those people in it has suffered. From time of the war fought with England, through the civil war, world war I and II Vietnam etc all the way until now. Let me be clear.... How all these people has seen their family and loved ones dead and torn ed into pieces right in front of their eyes, I am saying something to somebody. all of that Buried deep in the psych of all these people. That I am aware of, my country has never gone through such aw fall things, Except for the DR independence war. I do acknowledge all these wars fought by US are the causes that has built such as strong country as the US is today.
