It's my personal opinion, without judging or going into any personal attack with you or anyone else, that updating or making this kind of list wherein you post/update who has been interviewed or taken oath doesn't help much; instead it just prolongs a thread because of a such a long list of this kind. I think most people come on here to get help and to read stuffs that could help them than looking into such a long list of people as to who has been scheduled for the interview or who has taken oath. We all know that each case is handled differently and each district office operates differently. Thus, we can not make out much from this kind of long listing. It just takes so much space on a thread away while reading important issues. Just my opinion. Please disregard my opinion if it has offended anyone.

As you guys know by my previous postings that my wife's case is up for adjudication tomorrow early morning as she is scheduled for the interview at 7:30 am in Long Island City office in Queens, NY. It's past 11 pm and she has already gone to sleep and do not want to think more than what I've already bugged her in her preparation for the interview tomorrow. She has EVERYTHING in her possession you name it for the tomorrow interview, but we are worried about two crucial facts of her case which was not a problem during her green card application. First was that I married to her twice, which was questioned by the immigration officer during the interview at the time of adjudication of green card application as to why we were divorced previously as officer thought about immigration fraud because we both were illegal when we were married last time, and then I divorced her and married another girl who was a US citizen and got my permanent residency with that marriage and then became citizen and then immediately married to this current wife whom I was previously married. Keep it in mind that I obtained my LPR thru VAWA act because the second wife abused me during the marriage and was divorced from her before even obtained my LPR. Anyway, during the time of green card interview on my wife's application, she was only asked as to why we divorced last time, but I'm kind afraid that officer might dig more into our relationship and suspect something else even though there was no fraud whatsoever even though our situation and relationship might seem that way.

Our second biggest fear is-my wife's criminal case. Actually my wife was charged for a crime, writing a bad check, in 1997, which she did not even know until 2009 and a crime she never committed. Actually before filing her green card application, I ran a background check on my wife thru one of my friends who worked for a lawyer's office just to rule out anything even though I knew there couldn't be anything and we found that there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest. This warrant was issued by Las Vegas DA for a crime which occurred in Las Vegas, but strange thing is- my wife never went to Vegas nor she ever wrote any kind of check. Please be noted that she was never been arrested or fingerprinted nor she ever had any knowledge of this warrant. So we flew to Vegas and went straight into DA office and asked them what this all warrant was for. They wanted to arrest her right then and there but our attorney was present and argued nicely. And they showed us a check in the amount of $2k and my wife's name and address was printed on it, but my wife never had that bank account nor that was her signature on it. Later it turned out that someone forged a bank check and her ID, thus DA right away dismissed that case and even sealed her record, but we did not disclose this issue on her green card application because we were worried that it might cause unnecessary delay or other problem, nor it came up in their background check, but afraid that it might come up this time because I know, thru my own experience, that during the citizenship time they do very extensive background check. And if this ever happens, then not only her citizenship application could deny for not disclosing or answering wrong, but also her LPR would be in trouble. We have so far decided to tell the truth about this before officer asking her first. We'll see what would happen tomorrow.

The third problem is- my wife hasn't been able to prepare for the civil and history test as much as she should have been. Whenever I took her test, she could only answer 3 questions rightly out of 5. She just couldn't get enough time because she wakes up 4 am and come home from work around 8pm. She gets so tired that right away she rolls on the bed to sleep and many times without eating. Thus, she had not much time to go over this fully, but she says that she will be alright. I hope so.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the tomorrow and worried more than her even though this is her application and not mine...

I disagree. It gives a good idea of when different offices are processing, and a way to gauge how long it might take to get your case completed if you are in the same office. Obviously all cases and circumstances are different, however it gives us all the comfort that USCIS is actually processing cases and not sitting around doing nothing. We are in a situation where USCIS made an error and is making us re-file our removal of conditions, so we are on a wait on our citizenship. I have requested expedite, since it was their error not to mention the fact that it has put my business in jeopardy.
