Well, that was pointless. I called USCIS. By my count it has been 91 days since July 30th when I was placed in line. July 30th was a Monday. It is now Monday, 13 weeks later. 13 x 7 = 91. The customer service rep read everything I already know, and told me that it has only been 89 days so I have to call after 90 days, they can't give me an update until tomorrow.

Not only were they no help, they can't count, either. I just triple-checked my calendar. From July 30th until today, October 29th, is 91 days.

Pfft.

If my online status changes within the next 24 hours, I'll be shocked. (Pleasantly so... but still shocked.)

Yeah she said something about a service request after 90 days. Well they never did call me back when I called after 31 days (when the blurb had said 30 days instead of 90).

Not impressed here. There's no common sense - at least not on the front lines of customer service. I even said it has been 91 days (but wasn't too firm about it since I didn't re-check that and thought maybe I made a mistake since she said it was 89 days pretty immediately).

Oh well... maybe I should wait a few more days so we're past 90 days on everybody's calendar :-/

:D I agree on that, man, you are being to soft on them.

I do recall calling once and a customer service person was rude to me for no reason, and when I asked to get transfered she refused saying I should wait. I have a bad habit that when I am challenged I get stubborn specially if I know I have a right. I told her, I need to be transfered to an officer now, I will not wait a min. I was transfered right away no questions.

Try again.............

keep calling and ask them to transfer you to a Tier 2 they will understand

and keep calling until you get a service request man...

You are being too soft call again...

grasshopper I'll be marching into an infopass appointment on day 91 if I hear nothing....I'd much rather talk to a person face to face than a nameless individual on the no-help line, that can tell you anything they want.

I hope it doesn't come to that....I know you work, but I'm retired, got too much time on my hands anyway.....

I hope you get it resolved today, though!!! :)
