Maybe I will start to call them everyday.

I got some junk mail today, from the state representative, so I called him and left message. I am going to push every button I can reach, I am tired and I can't do nothing.

Well if it hasn't been 5 months yet we don't have cause to complain. I don't think calling them daily will help. Sit tight, be patient - our turn will come.

Nothing in today's mail for me... maybe tomorrow

Updating to add Oath date for next Tuesday!

The boyfriend went to his interview today and said it went really smoothly. He had to wait a good hour before he was called in, but once he was the guy flipped through his information really quickly and just checked off a bunch of boxes, asked him "when do we celebrate Columbus Day?" and then write the answer ("we celebrate it in October). He was then asked interview questions like "how long does a senator serve for?", "What did the Bill of Rights do?". and a few other questions he can't remember right now. The interviewer then stamped the sheet and said that they had an oath ceremony next Tuesday. My boyfriend asked when the next one was after that, catching the interviewer off guard a bit since he didn't know when the next one was in October. At any rate, boyfriend took the Tuesday morning appointment for next week. Good thing it is on Tuesday because we are going on a short vacation out of town leaving on Wednesday!

Surprisingly none of his documentation was checked - his Swedish passport, drivers license, selective service card or anything like that.

I am really surprised at how fast St Paul moved as I had heard stories of how long it could take and seen prior timelines on here. I don't know if it matters that he had about as "clean" of an immigration record you could have - no name change, no marriage, no children, no adjustments of status, no initial GC application based on relationship/work/other reason, etc. That boy has some sort of luck when it comes to US immigration that is hard to believe!

Yes, I know, you are right, I give same advice in other branches of forum, but I feel better when I do something even I know it probably will not help.

Well, guess what? Yesterday I tried to send e-request. USCIS didn't accept it because in their opinion it is too early to worry about. But today morning my online status changed - I am scheduled for interview, they did it yesterday, and I am so pleased: finally it moved! Even if I will be late for the election. I just want to finish it.

I hope in the few days rest of us will get their letters!

Good luck for those who have an interview this week!

Thanks! Yes, I called, but he didn't answer, I left message and he called me back today, when I wasn't home. If I scheduled, I don't need his help right now.

Anyway, I wait for the interview letter, it seems real to have it soon.

My husband had his interview today in Springfield, MO. He passed the test and will be sworn in October 12th in Joplin, MO!
