N-400 JUNE 2012 Filers

I just tried the link above, and it just says 5 months for N-400. For certification of citizenship, it's August, 2011. That's not application for naturalization though.

Still waiting for IL here. Maybe today's mail...

As I mentioned, Their time tables are screwed up. Anyway, when it says 5 months or 3 months it means the office is processing applications within the standard time line (for N-400 its 5 months).

If the office shows for example (Feb 28, 2012), this means they are behind and the last cases at the time of this report that were processed were ones filed on Feb 28)

But I found out that they are way inaccurate, my office say feb, yet May and June filers from my office are getting interviews and oath cermonies this month (which is 3- 4 months from start to end)...

Best thing is to keep your eye for the IL or keep bothering USCIS, I really do that when they are late and I dont feel bad bothering them as many as I feel I want to.

June filers are doing really fine with the process, plenty have their interview shceduled or even oath scheduled, some other still waiting. It will end soon.

Just called uscis coz i'm inline for interview scheduling since july 27th.

First lady was nice but she read everything what even I can see on my online status so I asked her that I wanna speak to level 2 rep she transferred me and it took me altogether 45mins to reach that guy and unlucky for me that guy did'nt seem to nice he asked my name and address and said I understand you are calling regarding your N400 and how may I help you ?

I said its been over 30 days (50 actually) since I was placed inline for scheduling interview and have not heard anything yet.

He said sir you're still in the queue and you'll be scheduled for an interview whenever there is a place available .

That's it 45mins and nothing good.

I was hoping that level 2 rep will tell me that I would hear something in 15 days but didn't.

this is so fraustrating

i don't know what to do now other day just wait and wait and wait.

i have been so unlucky since i started dealing with uscis.

K1 took 2 years usually takes a year.

AOS took 1 year usually takes 4 to 6 months.

ROC took 10months usually takes 6 months.

N400 4 months and not even have IL yet.

No_where_man - there were no specifics on that site for my DO as it pertains to N-400 - it just says 5 months. Earlier this year people were getting through in less than that, then in early June things ground to a halt pretty much until mid July and things are sort of going in fits and spurts there now. A few people get IL, then nothing for a few weeks. Quite a few are well over the 5 months. I'm not - yet so it's not really fair to bug them much - I did call after being in the queue for 30+ days but haven't had a call back.

Many report that they got their IL but their status still says in queue for scheduling so ... that is what it is.

Mail hasn't come yet today... so I'll check to day and see. If not... there's tomorrow

Thank you kiwiana and good luck on your interview. The ceremony at State University of New York (SUNY at Brockport) was very nice. This college hosts naturalization ceremony once a year on Constitution day. Today we celebrate the 225th birthday of the U.S. Constitution. There were 77 people from 40 countries. They allowed us to take pictures during receiving the certificate from the judge. The judge is very nice. He said he would stay at the end of ceremony if anyone wanted to take more pictures. After that, I got the voter registration form and passport application. The lady told me to complete the form and she would collect at the end of ceremony so I could vote in November. I notice that some people have real photo affixed to their certificates, but mine is scanned picture. Anyway, the ceremony lasted about 1 hour.

After I got home and had lunch, I went to apply for US passport. Wish everyone all the best.

Congrats toa and Ddart1 I sent them an e-mail to request some information about the Interview letter. I am waiting a respond from them within the next 48 to 70 hours.
