Wow some of you are moving through quickly!

I guess there are fewer applicants at some district offices than others.

Trying to be patient here, did my biometrics 2 weeks early, status changed within a couple of days, but patiently having to wait to get the interview letter. From the looks of stats here in ATL that could take 2-3 months.

So, after you have your Bio, are we to expect a status change? Because if that is the case, I did an early bio and been around a week and since then there is nothing. I thought, the next status change will be when then send out the interview letter.

Not necessary.

Some cases change like Grashoppr and you will still need to wait till you are placed in line for an interview (which take sometime from 4 days after you status changed to 3 months in some offices)

Some other offices like mine, you go for your biometric and USUALLY your case do not change only when its time to be scheduled(many members from Cincinnati office waited about two months after bio and did not have any change in status untill boom boom placed in line, ops scheduled in 3 days)

I was done with my BIO 3 weeks ago, and called USCIS for something in my application and I got to talk to this decent nice officer who basically gave me all what on my file, and after 3 days of my BIO , they received my FBI report. So that means they are waiting on nothing but the office.

I saw some exceptions though, but it all depends on how busy your office is.

In my opinion, status change after BIO means nothing unless you are tracking your office and know their work load.

Hopefully that makes sense

I suspect once the biometrics and background checks are completed, the files go on to the district office. Wait time will vary based on the work load of the various district offices. There are people here in Atlanta that have been in line for interview scheduling since late April and beyond. I follow this site and 2 others, and that seems to be a common thing for those of us here in Atlanta.

In my observation, Phoenix seems to move the fastest, most are done within about 90 days of filing, give or take a few days, unless their cases are complicated.

My biometrics appointment should have been today (2 hours ago, actually). I happened to be in the vicinity of the support center office 2 weeks ago, on the 26th of July. I knew I was going to be in that part of town so I brought my appointment letter and Green Card and took a chance at getting my biometrics done early. I knew full well that I might be turned away, but as luck would have it, it was a quiet day at the support center and I was in and out in 15 minutes. That was on a Thursday. My status changed to "in line for interview" the following Monday, the 30th, just a couple of business days after I did the walk-in biometrics.

I don't think it will necessarily speed up my process - but it saved me missing a half-day of work and inconveniencing my better half who would have had to cover for me - thus costing him a half-day of work.

My only worry at this point is I have to travel out of state (not out of country) on business in late September, and if my interview and/or oath is scheduled on that Friday and/or Monday or Tuesday, it's going to mess up my business trip (I will forgo the business trip, I won't attempt to reschedule anything with USCIS!) But at this point, all that is still to be determined.

Many reports that the online case status system in unreliable, one member said that the last update to him that USCIS sent the bio letter, he is already a citizen and the case status did not change.

So to answer your question, I do not know about June filers, but YES sometimes you get letters without any notifications online.

Has anybody gotten any letter without notification or the other way around? I have not gotten anything yet neither in the update or a letter.
