Hello everybody, just sent my application last friday july 15... i didnt send any g115 e notify, so i dont know whats gonna happen on my application cos i wont be able to get any e mails or texts.. im kinda.worried about me not sending g115, i hope everyhting will be fine... reading posts here makes me feel better. :))

You can create an account at the USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.g...ntextType=CU_EN). Later, you can add your receipt numbers to your portfolio and follow your status update; you can even sign up for text and email alerts. Good luck.

Day_31 06/05 Biometrics done.

Day_46 06/20 Interview Notification

Day_79 07/23 Interview. Approved.

Yours will be fine. In my case I sent out my forms with the G115 but I didn't get any notifications at all :) start putting your timeline in your signature so we can also take note of your progress :thumbs:

I did my bio early and my EAD got approved before my original bio date.

It's really up to you but an early walk in doesn't hurt your case at all.

Congrats Selah...It wouldn't hurt to try a walk-in. Some people get lucky and some don't.. I would give it a try

Really? I've read that even if you do a walk-in, they still don't process your case until the date your biometrics were originally scheduled. That is great for you!

I sent in my AOS today! Woo!

I sent mine express too. $18.95 (pretty cheap for overnight, really). They told me that since it's a PO Box I can waive the signature requirement so that the package can be put into their PO Box, or if I don't waive it, it will require somebody to pick it up. I chose to waive it ;)

I'm planning to attempt a walk-in for my biometrics once I get my appointment date. I have a job offer pending, so I really need that EAD as soon as possible ;)

Crazy how big some of these AOS packages are. Does it have anything to do with the country you're from? Mine all fit in a single manilla envelope!

No, nothing to do with your country, more with how much supporting documents you send with your forms.

@Linda: I hope you're not a rare exception! One month for your EAD is quite impressive!

#######! I got "Notice Left (No Authorized Recipient Available)" on my USPS tracking. I don't understand... there was no signature required. Why was it not left in the PO Box??

USPS also says: "If this item is unclaimed after five days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

Now I'm starting to get worried... the woman at the post office specifically told me that if I choose to waive the signature requirement, that it would enable them to leave it in the PO Box.

I called USPS, and they claim the "WAIVER OF SIGNATURE" was not selected. Umm... really?

Text notification that my application was received :) !

April 3rd 2012: I 130 send to Chicago

May 16th 2012: I 485, I 765, I 131 send by USPS priority mail at the Chicago lockbox

May 18th 2012: AOS received and signed by D.Colonna at 2:18pm at Chicago

June 4th 2012: got my all package return, restarting from level zero again :((((

June 6th 2012 Wednesday (day 0): Info pass and resend the whole package by USPS express mail at the chicago lockbox

June 7th 2012 Thursday (day 1) : package received and signed by Arturo B at 11:45 am

June 19th 2012 Tuesday (day 12): text notification that application was received by USCIS

June 20th 2012 Wednesday (day 13): check was cashed

June 26th 2012 Tuesday (day 19): Hardcopy NOA dated June 19th.

June 28th 2012 Thursday (day 21): appointment notice for bio on July 9th at 1:00 pm

July 9th 2012 Monday (day 32): bio completed

July 13th 2012 Friday (day 36): email for an RFE, soo sad:(

July 19th 2012 Thursday (day 42): RFE in mail

August 1st 2012: RFE response under review

August 15th 2012: (day 70) email EAD card and travel authorization in production

August 16th 2012: (day 71) email interview date for September 24th

August 20th 2012: (day 75) 2nd email for card production and hard copy of interview letter September 24th at 8:15am

August 21st 2012: (day 76) 3rd email for card production

August 23rd 2012 (day 78) EAD card I hand!!

August 29th 2020 : N 300 application 

September 2nd : received NOA by mail

05/09/14- I-751 packet mailed to CSC
05/12/14- NOA1 Receipt date
07/01/14- Biometrics Appt

08/11/14- RFE received

09/08/14- RFE response received by USCIS

09/22/14- 10yrs GC Approved!!
