Thank you :star: It finally came.

They did not expedite it because when they checked my status my appointment letter was already sent, so they sent me a copy of it and received it on Friday and Saturday I received the original interview letter... I'm so nervous since my case is so different than most of you.

Does anyone know what are the chances I get a stamp on passport if I show the flight tickets?

0%. They don't do that anymore, generally. They'd probably wonder why somebody would buy flight tickets before they had their GC (or at least their AP).

just wanna know if the welcome letter your recieved is the same with the one I got on interview day..

Is the one start with Dear applicant then Welcome to United States with your A#,CR6,country of Citizenship..

at the bottom ROC condition....

is it the same letter you got???

@MsGore. Based on my readings here on VJ, if there's nothing serious with your case you should hear something after 10 days. If you don't hear anything by the 20 th at least, you should probably start calling USCIS or have your lawyer inquire on your behalf. In my opinion, I think it has something to do with your I-94. What happened to it if you don't mind me asking? Why didn't you file for a replacement? Your I-94 is usually proof that you enter the country legally and with inspection. However, not everyone gets one( like Canadians). Eventhough USCIS knows that you enter legally because obviously its in their system, you always have to make sure you have proof of your entry.

I'm worried for you and I pray that you hear something soon....Keep the Faith...

I lost it long time ago and never file for replacement when I sent the packet I just send the passport stamp and visa page and dont get RFE for it.then on the interview IO just check my record in his computer plus visa page and passport stamp so I guess he's fine with it...

I was thinking too that's why I dont have the welcome letter in the mail because I already got one IO handed me on interview day..hmmmm well just worried a lil bit but My faith is bigger than my worries:-)

I hope you hear something soon McFly. I remember your rant weeks ago about that office. They really seems to be slacking there. With all the time and money spent in this process, its a shame how we are sometimes treated...

McFly, your experience sounds pretty awful to the point where I'm surprised they didn't just ask you to come in the next day. It's not your fault the office had poor staffing that day. Hope all goes well. Good luck!

I know, it would seem any of us that is going through the process would be willing to re-schedule for 1 or 2 days if it meant the assigned officer to your case actually will finish they job they started.

I don't know if 0%, but I agree that it is very unlikely that you get a stamp. Supposedly if you aren't getting a stamp is because there is another mechanism to show where you are in the process...

Thanks, I also just got notifications tonight that my GC and EAD were picked up by USPS and to expect them within 7 days.

It won't hurt to ask. I just saw someone very recently who got the stamp. Just wait until after they tell you you're approved before you show them the plane tickets, and then give them puppy dog eyes. :)
