Mine is at 9:30am which I'm happy about because if it doesnt go well I can come home and sleep it off.. You know I showed my hubby JayNarl experience(May Filer) and told that's as bad as it gets... He said " I wish they would talk to me like that". The feeling is neutral right now...

I observed while our IO looking at our pics he took a second look on the pics where my husband and I were in bed lol

you know we got married in Vegas maybe he wanna make sure we stayed at the same bed lol

then mostly took a second look of all the pics with family and friends...

we don't have that much pic I just brought one album...

I printed out facebook,emails,bday cards but didn't bother to look...

and I really tried my best to answer his question while looking straight in his eyes

Thanks MsGore. I hope my IO needs a coffee break, approve me, stamp my pp and send me home I remember going to the embassy 6 yrs ago to get my student visa. I was sooo calm about it. The lady didn't ask me any question at all. She said you are approve and expect your pp and visa in 2 days. Hope this interview will be that easy...

Can I take bedroom pics? I have so many goofy ones around the house. I only sent wedding pics with the package and plan on taking the ones at cookouts over the summer with familys and friends.Hope that will be enough

I got my first student visa 5 years ago when I was 17. I was extremely calm too!

I didn't get approved on the spot cause they wanted to verify some of my information.

After I left the embassy I started to feel the nerves, and I was like "what happened?"

They called me back 16 days later asked me to pick up my visa. :P

Umm sure.

We arrived 30 mins early. Put our appointment letter in the box.

10 minutes after our scheduled time, we were the only ones left. They close at 4pm, apparently, and they came out and started closing up. They asked if we had an appointment, and what time it was for. They seemed confused. Finally a woman comes to get us, and we follow her back to her cube.

She goes over standard questions. The one thing I messed up on my application was that I should have put the last date I crossed the border for date of entry, not the date on my I-94. No big deal, she crossed it out and made the change.

Asked:

- how we met

- when we met in person

- how soon we started dating (weird question... meeting was our first date, really..)

- when I proposed

- Where I proposed

- when was our wedding date (this was confusing, since our marriage certificate has two dates on it... 10/14 and 10/16. The 10/14 is the date of the license, the 16th was the actual wedding)

- Where was the wedding and who attended

- Where was the reception and who attended

Then she asked the typical "have you been arrested?" etc.

She asked for my birth cert. I handed her my long-form Ontario birth cert, and she seemed shocked that I had one. She also seemed shocked that we were more than two years married. She actually said she can't remember the last time she processed an application without the ROC.

She asked for anything with both our names on it. I had:

- lease

- savings acct

- car insurance

She asked for photos. She didn't really look at them beyond the first couple. She commented about my wifes hair being long in the photo (its short now) and said something like "its a pain to maintain when its that long. mine used to be that long, too".

Then she said we were approved, made a copy of each of our passports, and escorted us out.

Oh, and while walking back to the car, my case was updated via text to say the EAD and GC cards were in production. (no emails though, for some reason)
