I just called USCIS and was told that is taking 4-5 months to process....to give them a call on the 90 day

...?

She also mentioned that the only way to get a response it would be to expedite my ... my mother is still kind of sick in El Salvador but I have no proof with me...what do they ask for?

sorry about your mom...about my RFE they ask for most recent tax return so we submitted the 2011 tax...

and I think they satisfied with that coz i had my interview schedule but no EAD yet :(

so they want you to call again after 90 days?

mine said if i don't hear anything about EAD till august 29 they make a request for it...

maybe there's alot of applicant now especially here in L.A remember Pres Obama granted 80,000 that can apply for working permit...

Congrats McFly and Marishka for getting interview notices. Congrats Beskuri on you approval. You can apply for citizenship soon and be done with USCIS forever....I'm so happy for everyone and hope ill hear something soon...:)

How I wish! As far as I know, I have to wait 3 years (minus 90 days) from the date of my PR approval. So mine would be around May 2015 I think. I'm just happy I can travel again. I didn't apply for AP because I didn't want to take any risk nor was there any emergent reason to do so. Good luck with your journey and keep us posted! :)

Hello Fellow VJers!! This is my first time posting here but I have been lurking for a while. I submitted my AOS application on June 4 2012 and today was our interview date and we were approved!!! I am so happy. I hope we have more approvals soon. My EAD went into production on August 10 2012 but I will only have it for a little while before I have to destroy it because my GC Went into production right after our interview. My husband was great. He did most of the talking. We had an appointment at 10:30 we showed up at our Interview location in Irving Texas at 10:00 as per the instructions. Im glad we did because we got called at 10:25 and was interviewed by an older gentlemen in his late 50's. We bought everything we could bring, Lease agreement, Photos of wedding, engagement, baby shower, baby's birth, Christmas photos, birthday party photos, credit card statements, health insurance card, christmas cards and birthday cards and wedding cards and facebook photos with comments and everything else you can imagine. WE HAD 200 Photos!! He never even asked to see any of it. He just looked at one wedding party photo and one hospital photo of when our daughter was born. He asked my husband most of the questions. These are the questions he asked.

Questions to my Husband

1. What do you know about Your wife's country?

2. Have you met any of her Family?

3. What is her mother's name?

4. What is the name of the sitting president from her country?

5. Does she cook? What is your favorite Dish?

6. Tell me how you met

7. Where did you spend last Christmas?

8. What did you get your wife for your second anniversary?

9. What Language does your wife speak?

10.When were you married?

11. What is your address?

Questions to me

1. Tell me about your husbands family.

2. What is your address?

After that we broke into conversation and he told my husband that he would only grant me the GC under one condition. My husband asked what it was with a very serious face, and the I.O Responded with...YOU MUST TAKE HER TO HER FAVORITE RESTAURANT TO CELEBRATE! MY HUSBAND WAS LIKE DONE DONE DONE!!

He took my I-94 and said congrats on becoming a new PR!!We almost died!!

I just wanted to share my story. Even though I haven't been posting. I have been reading all your stories and I feel like we have been going through it together. I Wish everyone one of you success.

I did my timeline but I have not been able to figure out how to put it under the text like most of you have. If anyone can tell me how, i will be glad to do it.

I never knew they did either. That one threw my hubby for a loop he had to think really hard but he eventually remembered. It was nerve wrecking. The interview was about 35 minutes long but it felt like an hour.
