Got a notice just now that my EAD is in production and AP has been approved and i'll get it soon! :) 30 days. So happy!! ..though I don't have jobs lined up... Hmmm...

me I'm freaking nervous but pretty excited as well:-)

No problem! But apologies for not entering your information sooner. I don't know how I've missed it.

it feels surreal. I don't know what to do to prepare. haha! I will bring as much as I can as stated in the letter. I am also glad that my appointment is after 11 am. I am not an early riser, lol! (11:15 to be exact).

Thanks Newbie. I told my husband that. He laughed at me. Saying no way am I ready to wake up early yet. I think he is right! :P I would love to start earning though..

Omg! Just hours ago i was praying to God to give me an early interview date or just even at least an approval of my EAD, after about 3 hours i got an email from USCIS that i am scheduled for interview on Sept. 13... Thank You God... You are the best! I am so happy i even forgot that im cooking something for dinner and almost burned it! Haha

SUPER CONGRATS Abby!!! Power of prayers talaga very strong! =]

that's what i did yesterday i prayed to give some good news this week and 3pm i got email for my interview :dance:

Our God really answer prayers :)

He replies quick huh! Maybe he came upon a bunch of our AOS prayer forms and got to stamping "Heard and DONE" on every one of them, hehehe. I was imagining him sitting on a desk working on prayer requests. xD

i got the same email, seems like were on the same boat!

I grew up in the Philippines, but left for my degrees. I miss the foods!!!

same here I dont think I'm ready to wake up early for the job lol

Wahaha~!!! When people ask me what I do, I say I'm a bum. They asked me to stop saying that and should tell people I'm "in between jobs." I was like, "what for?! No need to sweeten it up. I'm just a bum and proud of it." lol, Well, proud that my hubby can still support me. Not forever though, we would like to buy a house and have kids. With that, I would need to pitch in.

Wow, there's a lot of you to congratulate for EAD approvals and interview dates! That's awesome! I hope to get mine any day now.

And talking about jobs, I got officially one this morning! Waiting for them to tell me when will be the start date, most likely early October. Pay is not wonderful, but it will be an interesting job right in the field I went to school for, so it will be perfect for me for now! They told me to let them know for my EAD but we're not too worried, since I won't be working before approximately 2 months.

Adjustment of status from F-1

May 14th, 2012: wedding in Vancouver, WA :)

June 6th, 2012: mailed AOS/EAD/AP

June 8th, 2012: packet delivered

June 11th, 2012: acceptance

June 13th, 2012: received text messages and emails confirming application reception

June 14th, 2012: checks cashed

June 15th, 2012: received hard copies of NOAs (dated June 12th)

July 2nd, 2012: received biometrics appointment letter, scheduled on July 17th

July 17th, 2012: biometrics appointment completed at 10am

August 12th, 2012: interview notice received, scheduled on September 17th

August 15th, 2012: EAD and AP card production (on the 70 day mark!)

August 24th, 2012: EAD card received

September 17th, 2012: AOS interview - Approved!

September 27th, 2012: Green card received
