Nothing for me still and now I'm a bit nervous. I had a job lined up for the Fall and I assumed they would hire like they did last year, November 1st. But I got an email and they're thinking about September 17th now. It should be fine with the EAD but we never know... I meet them next week but I don't necessarily want to mention that EAD thing because I should have it by then, except that I don't have it right now... Hopefully they'll start the training a little later to give me a little more time.

Have you try expediting the EAD?

Have you try expediting the EAD?

No because I thought I had more time. Can I do it now or is it too late?

May 14th, 2012: wedding in Vancouver, WA :)

June 6th, 2012: mailed AOS/EAD/AP

June 8th, 2012: packet delivered

June 11th, 2012: acceptance

June 13th, 2012: received text messages and emails confirming application reception

June 14th, 2012: checks cashed

June 15th, 2012: received hard copies of NOAs (dated June 12th)

July 2nd, 2012: received biometrics appointment letter, scheduled on July 17th

July 17th, 2012: biometrics appointment completed at 10am

August 12th, 2012: interview notice received, scheduled on September 17th

August 15th, 2012: EAD and AP card production (on the 70 day mark!)

August 24th, 2012: EAD card received

September 17th, 2012: AOS interview - Approved!

September 27th, 2012: Green card received

I don't think it would be too late but I would double check on that. I know you can expedite it under certain conditions. One of them is if you have a job offer. I imagine you would need to have the job offer in writing though.

Just had my biometrics completed. In and out in ~35 minutes in Saint Paul, MN. Hopefully now the USCIS can get us the EAD and Interview notice.

It was good! I was a bit of a baby because we didn't get approved on the spot, but we got approved later.

Thanks. We actually had the interview before even receiving the EAD, so it did move pretty quick.

I don't think our local office is terribly busy. It serves a lot of California, but not the areas with higher immigrant populations.

And of course, this site helped a lot. I think we sent in an error free packet because of the help we received here.

June 18 2011: Send I-129F

June 25 2011: NOA1

November 23 2011: Proposed in Guayaquil, in a magical place (I totally accepted!)

November 23 2011: RFE (for the passport style pics)

January 22 2012: they resent the RFE we had a problem with the mail

January 25 2012: We send the RFE

March 01 2012: Approved

April 11 2012: Interview (APPROVED) I was crying and laughing at the same time

April 24 2012: POE Miami

May 11, 2012: Finally married to my handsome baby
