ok yesterday I overnight my RFE, and I just checked the tracking number of the docs and they arrived there hopefully everything will go smooth :). I will let you'all know :)

January 22 2012: they resent the RFE we had a problem with the mail

January 25 2012: We send the RFE

March 01 2012: Approved

April 11 2012: Interview (APPROVED) I was crying and laughing at the same time

April 24 2012: POE Miami

May 11, 2012: Finally married to my handsome baby

I'm going to look for that app now. Anything to help me obsessively check our status!

Jeez, I hope that doesn't happen here. I have a job offer on the table that I need my EAD for. I couldn't care less about the actual GC.

Jeez, I hope that doesn't happen here. I have a job offer on the table that I need my EAD for. I couldn't care less about the actual GC.

It's my understanding that the I-765 is processed by the National Benefits Center and the I-485 is process by the local office. So, whether or not you interview before you get your EAD probably depends on how fast your local office is.

In my case, the local office isn't very busy. Since you're in southern California, I'm guessing it's busier.

June 13th, 2012: received text messages and emails confirming application reception
