hello guys, hows everyone doing? I am expecting a RFE about I693, cos i just sent my DS 3025 with my application, now i am still having trouble calling civil surgeons as they are asking me very ridiculous price... i have to do the whole medical cos my last medical back home is almost 3 years old. Can u guys share your experiences of getting your medical done? or if anybody here is from NJ/NY/PA area can u guys recommend a CS that wont rip me off...? thanks everyone... :help:

hello guys, hows everyone doing? I am expecting a RFE about I693, cos i just sent my DS 3025 with my application, now i am still having trouble calling civil surgeons as they are asking me very ridiculous price... i have to do the whole medical cos my last medical back home is almost 3 years old. Can u guys share your experiences of getting your medical done? or if anybody here is from NJ/NY/PA area can u guys recommend a CS that wont rip me off...? thanks everyone... :help:

HiAbby, mine was some here in boston. It's fast and easy. The doctor won't do anything with you, nurse will gave me a shot to test if i'm immune to something or not, come back in 2.days to check the reaction, when all is good, have me my form. I forgot what it was for.

The medical is just to check if you're updated in all the vaccinations needed. I can't say much about PA/ny/nj area, but the thing I did is called up people from the list they have in the government website and scouted for the cheapest one.

Just remember it depends on your local office how fast you get your interview letter. If you got an RFE that is going to slow it down as well. I agree with adding the local offices to the spreadsheet if possible.

As a side note I got the letter before they even updated my status online. I was a tad surprised when my husband threw me the letter. :P

Dont worry too much about it. Its quick and easy, and usually cheap. More often than not its under $200 total no matter what shots you need. No big deal.

9/13-(day 106) Interview October 17TH (TOTAL 139 DAYS)

9/17-APPROVED ON THE SPOT AND STAMP ON PASSPORT WHICH EXPIRES IN ONE YR!!!
