Thank you for your reply... No she did not suggest anything... I just told her I works wait for NOA for interview in the mail and hung up.... I also don't think she made a request (I hope she didn't) .I am but calling anymore I know that... I don't mind doing them I just don't want to wait longer....

How long do you think it will get for me to get an appointment date?

I hope I get it for mid August....(like some of late may-june filers)

Honestly your guess is as good as mine... there is no way of knowing for sure with dates on this process. (Except for the ones they notify you about showing up).

Got my RFE in hand, submit a complete Federal Income Tax Return from the petitioner/sponsor on Form I 864, for the most recent tax year.

Ugh so tax related as we thought it would be.

I read in another post that you will try to do the filling now. Best of luck and keep us posted!

I just figured out a quick way to check on your case statuses. I combined the search query from the URL when logged in to USCIS with the URL from when you're not logged in, and got:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do?appReceiptNum=MSC1290820165

Just replace the case number in that URL with each of yours.

Sigh...I hate being at the tail end of everyone here with my dates. :( We're getting pretty antsy about my work authorization. Wish they'd expedite those for folks who had filed AOS but hey...what can you do. Such is life. I just heard from a friend was approved who had filed on May 7 in Chicago. Turns out his interview was before the EAD and Travel authorization arrived... He had a ~2.5 month turnaround between submission and interview without any expediting involved. He did have a lawyer compile all of his paperwork though.

BTW, is there any benefit of doing a walk-in Biometrics? I have an Aug. 3rd appointment and a bunch of time on my hands...

Well received my interview notice today. It's on my birthday so I guess I get to celebrate with the IO! -_-

I still have heard nothing back about my EAD card at all. Be sad if I get the greencard before that.

Timeline wise I had my biometrics done July 11 and I did not do a walk in. My interview notice is dated July 19th as the date they sent it out and just got it today.

BTW, is there any benefit of doing a walk-in Biometrics? I have an Aug. 3rd appointment and a bunch of time on my hands...

It depends I think. Sometimes it speeds up getting your EAD card but not always. It doesn't hurt to do it early.

Wear a party hat and take in a cake complete with lighted candles. What could go wrong?! In all seriousness: All the best and break a leg. I'm sure the added festivity will help the I/O see your spouse's love for you. :)

As I mentioned earlier, it happened recently with a friend. If you want to avoid it, the route of getting an offer and then going through your local rep seems to work for most folks on the sit. I'm not going that route personally because it's hard to convince an employer to give a long enough acceptance period to get all the work done but hey, worth a shot...
