Hey all, at work myself. Work 3rd shift as a technician at a packaging company (one of the big 2). Sitting here now just counting the minutes until 8am when I can finally go home! :whistle:

May 2009: Started talking on a forum online

June 2010: Met in person in Toronto Canada

April 2011: Proposed in Toronto (she accepted!)

September 2011: Last entry into the US (Michigan)

November 2011: Married in Michigan

6/26/12 Sent in I-130 and I-485 packets to Chicago Lock Box

6/27/12 Package delivered to Lock Box (FedEx tracking confirms)

7/02/12 NOA1 email and text message

7/03/12 Checks cashed for I-130 and I-485

7/06/12 Hard copy for NOA1's

7/09/12 Hard copy notice for biometrics on 7/30/12

7/30/12 Biometrics done (Detroit)

8/20/12 Hard copy for interview date on 9/18/12

Hi everybody after almost 3weeks of waiting, i am so happy to tell u guys that i got my biometrics appointment... but... i didnt get any NOA! What am i going to do??? Help me friends...!

November 2010: Started talking on a christian forum online

May 10 2011: He came to Ecuador to met me in person (He made a promise to marry me)

June 18 2011: Send I-129F

June 25 2011: NOA1

November 23 2011: Proposed in Guayaquil, in a magical place (I totally accepted!)

November 23 2011: RFE (for the passport style pics)

January 22 2012: they resent the RFE we had a problem with the mail

January 25 2012: We send the RFE

March 01 2012: Approved

April 11 2012: Interview (APPROVED) I was crying and laughing at the same time

April 24 2012: POE Miami

May 11, 2012: Finally married to my handsome baby

May 23 2012: Filed for the SNN

June 21, 2012: AOS filed

June 23, 2012: I got my SNN

June 28, 2012: I got an enotification with the case number :)

July 13, 2012: RFE for the i485

July 25, 2012: Overnight the RFE

JuLY 30, 2012: Notice they got my RFE and they will be processing my case

August 8, 2012: Got a text/email RFE :( :(

I did a walk in. I told them I'd be out of town that week and he allow me to do it.

I just called the uscis about the noa1 they told me that they cant send me a copy as they sent it to me already... he told i dont need the noa1 that much cos i have the reciept number (from bio apptmt) so i can just check the status online...? Is this true? Can u tell me guys how important this noa1 for our application? Im confused now... :blink:

@darcness yes u can reschedule ur apptmt but i dont recommend that cos that will just make your application to take longer, so if u can do walk in why not.give it a try... im thinking of doing a walk in too cos my apptmt is on end of july thats kinda long wait for me and im anxious to get this whole application to get done.

You don't really need the paper copies as long as you know the receipt numbers. There should be four receipts, one for I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765. Each will have a receipt number. As long as you have the receipt number, you wont need the paper copies.

I'd make sure your address is right on the applications though, if they claim they sent the receipts but you didn't get them.

Ok i only have 2 case numbers on my bio appointment the i485 & i765 is this normal? I didnt applied for 130 cos i have it pending since 3 years ago bcoz of financial problem now i have the processing of it on going again... i am a k3 visa grrr everytime im thinking about having a k3 visa is making me regret doing my visa years ago... i didnt know about visajoirney yet at that time and didnt really understand the difference of cr1 & k3, so i end up having a k3 visa... now i have to be on this aos application.

I applied for advance parole too, i know i dont have to apply for ap cos i am a k3 visa which is multiple entries but ive been out of status since january 12, 2012 so i applied for it. Now i am wondering why i dont have an ap case number on my bio appointment?

You don't need bio for AP, just i765 and I-485..

I'm gonna test my luck and do a walk-in on Monday....someone from April filer did it at my office and got through with ease so imma try it....
