Just got my biometrics appointment letter. Scheduled for July...17? A Sunday? I didn't think govt offices would be open on a Sunday...

You are probably right, I'll try not to worry. I cross my fingers everyday when I go get the mail.

Abby, it's odd that you didn't get your NOA1 but you got your biometrics already. I would give them a call and see if perhaps they some how missed sending you the hard copy. Make sure they have the right address for you as well as the right contact information. That would put your mind at ease I would think. It must be in processing if you've gotten a biometrics date, so I wouldn't be worried.

On a side note I'm starting to get a little worried about the time line. Things are happening almost TOO fast because my wife and I have a vacation planned for the end of this month. I really hope she doesn't end up with a biometrics during that time. If she does we might have to do an early walk-in or something. What options do we have for this? Can you reschedule a bio appointment?

Yes u can always reschedule. All that info is on the bio notice...rescheduling can sometimes delay the process as well. As far as doing a walkin, that's based on if you are lucky enough or if they nice at the office in your area

The biometrics in my town is done in a strip mall. lol. Theres a couple doctors and dentists offices beside it. I'd try the walk-in, but my scheduled appointment is only a week away, so I'll likely not bother.
