Hello Guys!

After four months of waiting, my husband and I are finally having our interview tomorrow in Downtown Los Angeles.

Any tips you could give us? What are the questions like?

Also, one of the things we need to bring as stated on the notice is a letter of employment and pay stubs for the last 2 months. My dad co-sponsored for us. I've asked him for these but he hasn't given them to me yet and I don't think he'll be able to give them to us tonight. If we don't bring them to the interview, what will happen? By the way, I have a copy of his W2's and ITR's for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Would that be sufficient for now?

All of your comments, tips and suggestions are highly appreciated.

You're welcome. Also, try to be early because there's a long queue outside and (free) parking is very hard to find. Took us more than 15 minutes to get in. Good luck!

I'm starting to get a bit concerned with my wife's green card. We had our interview on 9/18/12 and the lady said she was going to go through our paperwork one more time to make sure everything was in order, but barring anything they needed additionally, she was going to be approved. Well since then we haven't heard anything at all. No communications at all. Also still haven't gotten the green card. She did get her EAD/AP combo card about 2 weeks ago. I just wish the green card would hurry up and get here.

Should we go ahead and get in contact with them? If so, who exactly do we contact to find out what's going on. We filed with the Chicago lock box.

May 2009: Started talking on a forum online

June 2010: Met in person in Toronto Canada

April 2011: Proposed in Toronto (she accepted!)

September 2011: Last entry into the US (Michigan)

November 2011: Married in Michigan

6/26/12 Sent in I-130 and I-485 packets to Chicago Lock Box

6/27/12 Package delivered to Lock Box (FedEx tracking confirms)

7/02/12 NOA1 email and text message

7/03/12 Checks cashed for I-130 and I-485

what i did is i make info pass after 30 days when i didn't get any answer from that i make service request when its close to 60 days...its not even a week after the SR, IO called me and said she talked to the IO who interviewed us and just wanna know the date of our marriage..that day I got the Card Production update...so yeah he let me wait 60 days to have my GC because he wanna know the date of our marriage..weird :whistle:
