I called them and they've said that interview is canceled and I need to wait from 30 to 90 days to receive the new one.Should I still show up to the first appointment or not?Thank you all

I would show up. The person you talk to when you call USCIS works for a call center, NOT for USCIS. All they can see is what is in their computer (presumably the same as the letter you were sent). They have no idea if your local office got the message or not.

Otherwise, I would schedule an Infopass and personally speak to an IO at your local office to verify it is cancelled. But with your the date approaching so quickly, it won't save you any time since you would have to go to the office anyway.

Go to your interview, the worst that could happen is you're sent home On the other hand, if you don't go, well this is the gov't.

Good luck!

Hello everyone,I have some question about getting the interview canceled not by me but by USCIS.I was suppouse to have it within 10 days and yesterday I got the letter from them saying that my interview is canceled because the unforseen circumstances and that they will let me know when they shedule a new one.I checked it on their official site and nothings is changed .It says like my interview is still on and there is no mention about the canceling.I'm gonna call them as soon as they are open to see what is going on but if anybody knows something about it please feel free to give me some information about it.Sorry for bad english,I'm still learning and thank you all for this site because it helped me a lot.

I know it was almost a year ago but do you mind telling me what exactly happened with your case? I am in the same situation. We had our interview scheduled and 12 days before I got the cancellation letter. I am in Tampa as well. Very frustrating. How long did it take for you to get a new date? I would appreciate your help!!!
