Si Dios quiere asi sera!! Be prepared to be asked about the denial for the visitor's visa. They will most definitely ask about this. :star:

Steph you going to think this is a lie but we have 3 yrs knowing each other and thats the one topic we dont talk about, he just told me he got denied and he was dissapointed. I know his sister tried againg to do the visitors visa and she got denied againg so it scares me a lil because when he went for the visitors visa he went with his 2 sisters and the 3 got denied, last year one of them came to the states with a job visa and she overstayed meaning she didnt return to DR when her visa expired in sep, and 3 months ago his other sister went for the visitors visa and she got denied, idk y. But im scared that the consulate would think is not legit since his siters and now himself been trying to get a visa since 2008 and one got it and now shes ilegal in the states. N thats another thing wat if they ask about his sister being here or if they ask if he has family members here other then his fathers family. Do i say just his fathers family and dont get his sister involved, cus i think tellijg them the truth will get hil an autolatic denial even though we are not together for immigration purposes

My suggestion to you is talk about it with your husband because I am almost positive they will inquire about this at the interview. I just hope they don't give you a hard time. My other suggestion is be 100% honest about EVERYTHING. When you lie is when you get tripped up and then you are in deeper trouble. Do not mention the sister unless they ask about the sister. Don't volunteer the information unless asked about it.

Yes we really are, i didnt think about it like this but this call actually came in almost at the 2 months mark from the day we got married. Is like they were waiting to make this call. Im not falling for none of those scams i know things are done via the consultorio and the things before that pay by check with the first application after that online n so on.

Well if I were you whatever the reason was for them to do that to you guys I would be extremely careful. Someone is trying to harm you and it might be somebody close to you and that at least has knowledge of this process. If you had asked me what "CONSULTORIO DE VISA" was two years ago or even a year ago i would not have a clue. Be careful.

Jo, our plan was to keep the interview a secret too. I told a couple people in my family and he told his mom and all of a sudden everywhere knew.:angry:

Even after we told the people to not tell anybody. It was hard to keep it a secret from people like his mom and my aunts, so we trusted them and told them. Good thing everything went well at the cita and after or else we would have had to tell EVERYONE we were denied.

Stephanie, I love his mom, she's a sweet lady...but I know the minute she finds out...ITS A WRAP...might as well call it a press conference! LOL!

Thankfully it all worked out for you!
