You would benefit from taking a business English class in the USA to learn about how to make a resume.

You need to redo your resume if you want anything more than a retail job or to be treated as an adult instead of a high school student.

Your resume should not include that you are Egyptian and does not need to include High School information on it.

I had the same issue and had to remake my entire resume when I moved to the USA because they are very critical about how the resumes look.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I hope on the real resume this is formatted nicely with bullets, bolds, underlines, whatever makes it look organized. Look online for examples.

i am Egyptian ABSOLUTELY NOT NEEDED!!! In fact, it is illegal to hire based on this knowledge. It looks very bad to have this, It doesn't matter where you are from.

Education or Qualification Which one is it? It looks bad to put a very generic term.

High school

Technical school 5 years diploma system

Specialization/ mechanical engineering Years of graduation/ 1998 If this is High school, it's probably not the best thing to put first. Put your work experience first. That is more impressive, right?

Work Experience

Alexandria tire co (Pirelli) Alexandria Egypt in Occupation Production technician for ten years You need to say which years exactly. This looks lazy without specifics.

some shops in Occupation Director of Sales for many years Some shops? Many years? You need to be specific and detailed.

DSD ferrometalco Alexandria Egypt in Occupation Mechanical helper for 2 years

Kajmai corporation Alexandria in Occupation Area helper for one year Which year? what is a helper?

Training Courses

• ICDL computer software in 2007

• Fire-resistant:

Training of the Egyptian government to resist fire 2006 This is confusing... how can you resist fire? You learned to be flame-retardent?

Skill

Computer

• The ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other applications both in English and Arabic. starting this line with "the ability" makes it look like you don't know english that well, when you are claiming you do know english.

• The ability to type in both languages, Arabic and English - at a very high speed What speed? You should be able to say words per minute if you want to be known as a typist.

Language

• Arabic .English. and Russian at what levels? Conversational? reading ability? fluent? Be specific.

HONORS AND AWARDS

Best performance for year 2010 in Alexandria tire. Co (Pirelli) What is "best performance?" Is it most sales? Most items made? It is sort of unclear what you job actually was... production technician? is that an assembly person? It would be good to put what your responsibilities were at that job, it will be more descriptive and give the person a better idea about what you did. I don't know what you did at all, by reading this. In general, you need to be much more specific and detailed, and use professional English.

this is my resume and i wish some one tell me what i focus about in job and how and where in st Clair mo

thanks for all

It's good you are posting your resume here, because it needs a lot of work. I can tell you, I would throw this resume in the trash straight away. Hopefully with some help you can fix it up and get a job soon! I have put some comments in blue. They are only the beginning, and I think your resume needs a whole revamp, but hopefully it gives you something to think about. Best of luck!

I spent 3 months looking for a job, although some of my American friends looked at my resume and helped changing it... I had some interviews, but not many... Then I read an article online, which explained how a person could change their resume, so it would stand out. I actually changed it according to the format mentioned in the article and I started getting more and more calls back! I actually got a pretty decent job a month ago and I absolutely love it!

So, I did the following to my resume:

I listed my skills first;

Then I listed my work experience and instead of just listing the description of each position, I tried to mention my achievements at work and the contracts I worked on (i.e. I have some experience working as a freelance translator, so I mentioned which companies I worked with and what types of translations I did for them, then I have some content writing/translation experience, so I mentioned that some of my articles were chosen as the top story of the day/week etc.). I don't have a lot of work experience, so I listed my internships too (and it turned out to be very helpful).

And my education was the last thing I listed on my resume. If the first thing you mention on your resume is your education, HR managers might think that you are a recent graduate with no work experience.

Anyway, those little hints helped me. I hope they will help you too.
