I have downloaded a map that shows an annex of St. Lukes Hospital and it is only about 4-5 blocks from the American Embassy. Is this an option that anyone can use or do you have to request to go to this place.

It is much more convenient than going to the big hospital.

The address is St. Lukes Center Extension Clinic

Alanlvsjudy, is right. In the Philippines, St. Luke Medical Center is the only credited place by the US Embassy to conduct medical examination for people going to the US...

May 2007 - arrived in Texas

June 2007 - our "big day"

November 2007 - 2-yr GC received

December 2009 - 10-yr GC received

Citizenship by next year!!!!

When you recieved your packet from the US Embassy, it will state the schedule for your medical appointment in St. Luke's Clinic in Bacobo, Ermita, Manila and the schedule of interview at the US Embassy.

St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic is the only accredited clinic by the following embassy: American Embassy, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand. All those who have immigrant visa petitions go thru a thorough medical checkup. Usually last a day. I advice that you go early as people lined up here as early as 4 a.m. Even the sea farers have their medical checkup in this clinic.

Bring all necessary documents pertaining to the petition. there will always be lots of forms to fill up. Every check-up another form. Be assertive, ask questions and have a lot of patience.

Good luck!
