Alas, another comic influence from my youth, gone far too soon.

I am thankful for the DVD, so that I may purchase and replay the shows/movies at my will, keeping their memory alive forever.

One of my favorite episodes of Andy Griffith was when Barney was chasing Thelma Lou around the sherrif's office and Opie came in on him and Barney had lipstick all over his face!

Karen ( USA ) and Tony ( UK ) now both residing in USA!!

One thing that is always a tearjerker for me is on Dec. 31st right before the ball drops when they play that montage of all the actors and famous people that died during the past year. I'm sure we'll see ol' Don on there. RIP.

Oh I know! and the one they do on the Academy Awards too.

Also of note, Darren McGavin passed away as well. My fav role of his, played the Dad in A Christmas Story.

RIP to both.

Oh that's really sad too, James and I love that movie!
