I was actually at work when they delivered mine to my house, they gave it to my sister who showed her ID, which is obviously not me but he still handed it over anyway...we did have the same surname so maybe that's why he had her sign for it!

Ninamyers, how did your interview go today?

interview went fine - posted in the embassy forum!! on the verge of booking my ticket right now for next tuesday... yayyy!! after howmany days did you get the visa delivrered katie_uk?

i got mine the very next day! Good luck with the packaging- that was the hardest part of it all really, seeing your life fit in two suitcases, but believe me it's all worth it!! Have you planned when your wedding will be? Goodluck with everything!!

I remember someone posted at some point that you can pay more for delivery and it is guaranteed to arrive next day or next two days or something. If the normal service is 13.50 how much is that service? anyone know? or does it not exist and im juts imagining?

I paid £20 more to get it delivered before 8am, at least that way there would def be someone at home... On day 2 now, and there's 10minutes to go! Don't think it's arriving today somehow!

The woman that interviewed me said that I shoudl get mine within one week - even though I am awaiting an FBI Name Check.

No passport/no visa as yet and interview was 10th October. I had planned to fly on the 27th October I doubt there is any chance of this now

USPS confirm delivered to USCIS 06th February 2007

I-797C Notice of Action dtd 9th Feb recvd 12th February 2007 (both my son and myself)

Biometrics Appointment 1st March 2007

Transfered to CSC 11th April 2007

GREEN CARDS RECEIVED 9th July 2007 All done till 2009!!!!!

:) I got a text message this evening saying that the US embassy visa pcakage will be delivered on 19/10, tomorrow!! So I shall be waiting by the door tomorrow morning...

I had to send in a notarised letter after the interview regarding my son; which I did. But they've had it for well over a week now.

I emailed them at the beginning of the week asking what was going on with it all and haven't had an answer yet.

*shrugs*

I have no idea what is going on...but the stress is agonna kill me! :help:

They said 1 week to me (FBI Name check pending)- It's hard trying to be patient - I finish my job next week, I have a buyer waiting patiently for my house and Had planned to fly to Steven on the 28th October. Totally fed up right now

I know what you mean. I finish my job on the 3rd of November and am about to exchange contracts on my house.

Part of me wonders if I'm going to be homeless and jobless trying to support a kid...OTT thoughts maybe, but you can't help worry none the less.

Then, as happy that I am to hear that others get their visas through it does just feel like another nail in the coffin kind of thing. I'm happy for them but, bloody hell...where is MINE?? :unsure:
