HI guys,

I called the NVC today, and the lady told me that they found two things wrong with my AOS packet and my IV packet. The first problem was found on my AOS packet----my signature on my I-864 did not look to be original (EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I SENT IN AN ORIGINAL SIGNATURE). The second problem was found in my IV packet, where my husband's place of residence was not accurate and they do not want any gaps in the dates. (AGAIN--I KNOW I DID NOT WRITE ANY DATES WHERE THERE WAS A GAP OF 6 MONTHS OR MORE).

Now, my question is----is this normal? Even though I know I sent in ALL of the correct information to the NVC, can they still say that it is wrong? Has anyone had this experience at the NVC stage? I think this is going to delay our case for another month at the NVC stage, right?!

I received a notice from the NVC to pay IV and AOS bills on April 23, 2012 and it is now May 24, 2012!! IS THIS NORMAL??

Let me remind you, I have a lawyer. Maybe she did something to delay the process at the NVC stage??

Thank you so much everyone! I'm getting so nervous! I'm starting to think it is going to take forever (God-forbid, God-forbid) to get an interview date at Ankara and have my husband be here with me soon! :(

Send a response to your Checlist ASAP.Re-do your I-864(Sign in Blue Ink) & DS 230(stating no gaps in the date)

Do I have to wait for the NVC to send me/my lawyer the checklist in order to send my lawyer the documents needed? Or can I send the documents to my lawyer now based on my conversation with the NVC operator?

What is your opinion?

You have to till NVC sends you the check list.IF you were Electronic Processing you could send resond to your checklist right away.In the mean time prepare all the documents needed to fulfill the checklist's requirement.

The lady in NVC told me that they will send me an e-mail, so does that mean i am in electronic processing?

No sending an email is not electronic processing.Electronic processing means you will send all your documents by email.

Your country is not listed in electronic processing.You have to snail mail your every documents to NVC.Here is the link for country eligible for electronic processing..
