Changing First Name on SS Card

We are going to the SSA office tomorrow. We never use my daughter's given name, always using Guadalupe. Although, that's not on her green card, are we able to put her used name on the SS card in First Name or other Middle names or do we need to wait until a court order and / or adoption?
