Vermont has slowed down a lot it seems....

Also igor's list isn't very representative of the hundreds of thousands of cases that are at VSC. They are definitely processing slower these days but it just happens that the ones processed in the last week don't have a timeline on VJ (or didn't update). I'm sure they ARE working on cases.... SLOWLY.... but surely they must be.

Believe me, I'm very frustrated that things seem slow as well. When I filed VSC was averaging about 3-3.5 months from NOA1 to NOA2. VJ timeline predicted mine would be April 1 through April 15. It's now May 24th and still nothing.... Getting close to the 5 month mark. Ugh.

They are moving...just slowly. I guess we're a bad sample group right now. I've been tracking the I130 petitions received the same day as mine and they've gotten through almost 20% by my count. Some days seeing other petitions from my day get approved keeps me sane since Igor's list gives very little hope right now. Hang in there guys. It takes as long as it takes.

This entire process is driving me nuts, I really want my hubby here with me for Thanksgiving and our 1st year anniversary. I thought that by now I wouldve seen an approval. I saw ppl with the same date as mine already gotten approval. I thought it was done according to date received, first come first serve?

Though I wish you were right, you are mistaken...

It's only been 4 months.

We are Jan 12th which means Feb 12th is the 1 month mark, March 12th is 2, April 12th is 3 and May 12th is 4.

We have another 2.5 weeks to go until we hit 5 months, unfortunately :(

You would THINK it was first come first served, and they want to say that it is... but the fact of the matter is: some case workers work faster than others... and sometimes its just whether ur box gets chosen first.

Your NOA1 is almost a month after mine and we're still waiting as well :/

Some people have been waiting 6-7 months unfortunately

Checked 550 EAC cases on USCIS database and found 74 I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN cases from Feb 27th all under initial review.

The situation is as follows:

Out of 325 cases before mine, 27 are under initial review.

Out of 225 cases before mine, 46 are under initial review.

It seems that during April and May VSC was mostly dealing with Card/ Document Production and Post Decision Activity such as:

I821 APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS.

I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

I102 APPLICATION FOR REPLACEMENT/INITIAL NON-IMMIGRANT ARRIVAL DEPARTURE RECORD.

We should look at bright side since most of other cases (except I130) were approved and now it's our turn
