It finally came, we received approval email half an hour ago, it's the best news in our lives, just imagine seven and half month every day checked case status, it's always initial review, what a torture for us. For those who still waiting, just hang in there, your turn will be coming soon.

When you ESCAPE from that first WAITING game, its easy to say Hang in there....who is in the phase knows how rough and stressfull it is.....Unfortunately, you are helpless and Cant do nothing beside every single morning/afternoon/evening/night browse the website and get same "INITIAL REVIEW" on petition status....and keep counting days of Petition submission....

Hanging there....time will come..lol.... :blush::blush::blush:

That's great good luck can you imagine I waited 18 months for my wife to get here! It was worth the wait!

My husband called NVC today, just one week later after our approval, but the lady said please don't call until you get your case number, she was unhelpful. my husband will call again tomorrow to see whether another person would be better. so could you give us some suggestion that we should continue calling them or just wait for the case number?

Keep calling once a day. Your husband got one of the less than helpful NVC reps. They aren't all like that...some are better, some are worse, and some are robotic (RoboFrank). You'll KNOW if you get him.

Please keep in mind that it has been taking NVC 4+ weeks to assign a case number lately, so don't get discouraged if you don't have one in the next week or so.

As Kerry & Carl said, Keep Calling once a day. If you don't in touch with NVC, it will almost take 2-3 weeks to get an email with the case number and other detial after NVC officially assigns Case number for your Petition.

by the end of this week, probably your husband might hear from NVC saying they receive your case but not updated on their system. After that point, in general, it will take another 1- 2 weeks to get case number.

little bit WAITING GAME but not bad as USCIS.....
