Support letters for I-129F

Whether or not they make a difference is yet to be known, but I have a question about this nonetheless. My girlfriend lives in Chile, and some of her friends and family would like to write a support letter to state that they met me when I traveled there. They don't speak/write English so my question is, if they wrote a support letter in Spanish how would I go about adding that to my I-129F packet? Could my girlfriend write the translation under their statements? How would I go about doing this because I doubt I can submit these letters while still in Spanish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

They most likely will not make any difference and won't hold much weight as far as deciding if your I-129F petition should be approved or not. Main evidence for proving you have met face to face within the 2 years prior to filing are, boarding passes, passport stamps, receipts from trips to see each other (even better if they have both your names on them), and secondary evidence would be photos showing the 2 of you together and with friends and family during the times you state you were together and go along with the corresponding dates on the boarding passes and passport stamps you provide.

If you still wish to include the statements, then your fiancee can translate them herself if she is fluent in both languages. See this link: http://www.visajourney.com/content/translations

They must be translated yes. If shes very good at both languages she can translate them but must include the translators sworn statement on them as well.

Really there is no use for these letters, they are not regarded as evidence and would be a waste of time. Anyone can write a letter saying something nice about people even if its not a true fact.

Hi, I am not sure 100% sure about the answer to your question, but, I would assume that the letters are of little use.

If you do not like my answer though (I am from Australia) it may be best to ask it in your regions portal http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-%26-south-america/, they could give you "region specific advice" , maybe letters of support would be helpful at the interview stage?

Ok, thanks for the information. I figured these letters wouldn't be the best evidence, thought I would give it a shot. Although, taking it to the interview might be a possibility! I guess a side question while I am here and instead of making a new topic, do the Intent to Marry letters have to be hand-written or can they be typed and then signed? Thanks again!

Either way would be ok, always signed. As you get closer to interview is not a bad idea to have new letters re-iterating the intent to marry.

Thank you kindly, I hope I wont be too much of an annoyance here with my future questions because I will be asking a lot. I want to get this done right, I will plan to be there for her interview when that times comes but until then I would like to make sure I get every piece of information correct to avoid the dreaded RFE. So bear with me folks! Thanks again for everyones kind replies and spot on information!
