Results from an initial air sampling after North Korea's announced nuclear test showed no evidence of radioactive particles that would be expected from a successful nuclear detonation, a U.S. government intelligence official said Friday.

Seriously, they probably packed a cave full of conventional explosives. I just feel sorry for the poor guy that had to stay behind and light the fuse.

The story is changing, I mean evolving :)

Preliminary evidence of radioactivity has been detected at North Korea's test site, CNN reported Friday, quoting a U.S. government source.

NBC News, meanwhile, reported that an increase in radioactivity has been observed around areas where North Korea's nuclear test sites appear to be located as a result of a U.S. analysis of air over the areas.

From what I have read today it seems he did at least try to explode an a-bomb but it was less than 1Kton in size. Probably a dud. That guy is really nuts. He starves his people and blames it all on us.
