Anyone going home for XMAS

For the first time in 14 years I'm going back to my country. I haven't seen my mom nor most of my family for the same amount of time. Should be a beautiful trip; I leave December 18th and return January 7th. Originally it was supposed to be myself, my husband and my daughter. Husband is no longer in the picture so it will only be myself and daughter (bitter/sweet).

I'll be leaving in the middle of Dec with my husband to spend the Holidays with my family until Jan! I can't wait!!!

I wish I was, last Christmas was my first away from home, so I really wanted to try and make it back to the UK this year...but I'm really busy with work and I'm kinda back and forward between Seattle & Portland at the moment, so I don't think its gonna happen

We're going to visit Marlene's family and friends. We'll arrive in Manila December 23rd and we don't come back to the U.S. until January 21st. It will be a little over 1 year since we have been there.

not me. it'll be my first away from my family

and get this, the hubby hasn't spent christmas with his family for years (1st because of the ex-wife and then because of work) and get this - they are all going to Banff for the holidays and they don't get why i can't go! LOL well, i could go, i'd just not be able to come back. we could book tickets and hope we get the AP on time, but we can't really afford that or to wait until we know. so it'll be just us.

I will be going also home for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy..... I will leave on the 2nd and come back on the 14th of january.

6 weeks in France with family and friends. Plus it will be good because my parents will enjoy seing their grand daughter.

My husband will also come for 2 weeks!!!

This is going to be my first Christmas without my family. I am trying to convince my mom and stepfather to come here for Christmas but they have a plan to come in April so I would doubt they will.

We plan to (husband, son and I). Don't know the date yet when we leave. Going to see my sister in British Columbia (12 hour drive one way from where we live) for a few days and my parents are flying over from Ontario to her place.

I'm still having a hard time over that.............I can go home but hubby can't get enough time off from work. He supports whatever decision I make but it's a toughy!! This is our first Christmas together. And I'm used to a big family gathering with my Dad and siblings and their families and of course my girls. His family here are not close knit like mine. His kids will probably show up long enough to open their gifts and eat then leave!! (they're nice kids....just don't seem that family oriented!!) Plus my youngest daughter is going home with our new grand daughter. I am in such a dilema and I don't know what to do!!! I want so much to be with my husband but I'm torn being away from my Dad, daughters, and 3 grand babies.....I have never been away from them before. This is killing me and it's showing in my every day manner. Try as I might I don't like it here (the place, not my hubby....I love him more and more every day and can't imagine life without him!! Bruce loves my hometown also and would love to move there but his work is here. We have so many friends there.............people here are clickish!!......Lucky you who are going home in tow with your hubbies......................{{{{HUGS}}}}

We are. Hard to miss the anual I'm going to be dead soon guilt fest that Christmas has become :-)

we are. Last Christmas was Ana's first away from home. This year we will be going to mexico. Maybe this is how we will do it. One year here, the next year there.
