Today we had the Biometrics done.. It was fast and easy. Brought my step-son since he was on his dads form as they arrived together to the USA.We also included the biometrics for him with the application. We never received a Bio appt for my step-son, Only my Husband. The people at Biometrics said they usually dont call the children under 14 yrs the second time but they will call him maybe in a coupe years. Said it wasnt unusual. They also said you always have to pay the BIO fee for him even if they dont call him.

Anyway, glad to say the BIO is done......now awaiting the next step!!

My bio notice was waiting for me when I got home from a vacation to see my family - biometrics on July 24th! Going to try to get it done on the 23rd, though, due to work commitments on the 24th.

My wife and daughter had their Bio done Friday at the Portland, OR office. They were really busy, but very organized, the site supervisor was running the chick in and she had everything under controll, I gave her kudos for being so organized. Now we wait for the interview on the 30th and hopefully will have an answer soon afterwards. Good luck to everyone!

This question goes to pretty much anyone. Everyone has to do Biometrics, I understand that, but when doing the removal of conditions, how often does an interview NOT happen? My thinking is that the interview is the rule rather than the exception, do I have it backwarkds?

I ask because the I751 instructions uses the word "may", not "will":

Page 4, section 'Requests for more information' -> "We may request more information or evidence, or we may request that you appear at a USCIS office for an interview."

Had our biometrics appointment today at the East Hartford, CT location. It was really quick and easy and there was only one other couple there. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. Nothing left to do now but wait for approval!

Met in Oxford U.K. in October 2005, 11 visits back and forth over 4 years
