We sent Our application on June 14, 2012, received June 18, 2012 Check cashed June 29, 2012 so I would say I am a June filer but if it would make you happier I can move to July.

I am more interested in the people claiming they mailed there application 1 day and received a NOA1 dated the next day. How does that happen?

It's because the NOA1 date is the date written on the letter, not the day you receive it.

Right...so they mailed it on the 10th the USCIS received it, opened it, processed it and issued a NOA1 on the 11th?? And people say they are dragging their feet?

People could have sent it courier (Fedex, UPS), USCIS received it in the morning the next day and printed a batch of NOA 1s in the evening. It's entirely possible.

07/21/2010 - AOS approved

08/04/2010 - Green Card received (and it's actually green!)

05/30/2012 - Sent ROC packet to VSC

06/08/2012 - Received NOA1 for ROC (Dated 06/04/2012)

how's everyone doing?

I have a question, Does the 90 day window mean you have to file on that day (90days before GC expires)? If not, is there a reason for doing it right then? Can you wait a week or 2 after the 90 day before mark? I dont think I'll be ready thats why Im asking.

From the USCIS site:

Note on Filing Fee: Please include the base petition fee plus $85 biometric services fee for all conditional resident applicants. Each conditional resident child listed under Part 5 of this form who is a dependent seeking to remove their conditional status, is required to submit an additional biometric services fee of $85, regardless of age.

Hello, I wasn't home yesterday so my Biometric notice could have arrived yesterday, July 9. Appointment scheduled for July 27, 2012. If I request to reschedule when do they usually reschedule for?? Someone else asked, what if I get there a bit early, 3pm appointment?
