Alright guys...time to get this party started! I am super excited that our immigration journey will be O-V-E-R in about a year and 3 months! (depending on processing for citizenship, of course :) ) that is, at least until or unless we move back to the UK.

I spent yesterday and today tracking down and printing off all the evidence I'm planning to use...how is everyone else's coming along? Unfortunately our lease is up in December and we're not sure if we're going to stay. I'm thinking about getting a PO Box because from the processing times at the VSC, it doesn't look like we'll get the card within 6 months. And I don't really know if I can trust USCIS not to send the green card to the correct address even if we send them a new one. I just foresee myself paying another $500 to USCIS for a card that David will only use for a couple of months :bonk:

Here's what I got (fairly final):

• Copy of the green card of David

• Copy of joing tax transcripts from 2010 and 2011

• Copy of our joint checking account statements every 3 months (first page)

• Copy of our joint credit card account statements every 3 months (first page)

• Copy of our joint savings account statement from 09/2010 and 04/2012 (first page)

• Copy of Term Life Insurance for David with Justine listed as beneficiary

• Copy of medical & dental benefits from Justine’s employer with David listed on the plan

• Copy of Justine’s life insurance through her employer with David listed as primary beneficiary

• Copy of Justine’s 403(b) account through her employer with David listed as primary beneficiary

• Copy of our driver licenses with our current address listed

• Copy of our current lease that we signed together (first page)

• Copy of our health insurance card listing both our names

• Copy of our joint car loan (first page)

• Copy of our car insurance policy (first page)

• Copy of various wall posts made to each other on facebook

• Copy of various pictures of us as a couple together

What do you think? Anyone else sending more/less than this?

if they both can here togather at the same time the stepson goes on the application you pay one fee, if you came at different times then you have to file two 1-751 an another fee.

Aww, thanks, Nich (by the way, is that short for anything? I've always meant to ask!) and congrats to your hubby on citizenship!

Ciao again,

how's everyone doing?

I have a question, Does the 90 day window mean you have to file on that day (90days before GC expires)? If not, is there a reason for doing it right then? Can you wait a week or 2 after the 90 day before mark? I dont think I'll be ready thats why Im asking.

Thanks :help:
