So, my online case status still shows "initial review." We have already did our interview, and the IO said we would recieve the GC in about 2wks. Throughout this WHOLE process it has never changed from the "initial review." Is that normal??

Also, is it normal not to recieve a confirmation of approval?? Maybe a paper, or something? I mean the IO officer giving something like this when they say you are approved.

Yes its normal if you read the forums many people say NEVER trust the online case status. Its never accurate !!

If you are approved you get an welcome to america letter usually at interviews then you wait for your green card. Otherwise you hear nothing until you get a card production notice and then the green card in the mail.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I think USCIS has still to work on their notifications.

Thanks! Yeah, there website still only showed one change, and that was when I received the RFE, but after I sent that in it went back to "initial review" on the I-130

Yea, the online status can be inaccurate.

I have had my green card for 2 years almost and to this day the I-130 status still say initial review :P

Did you sign up for case status Texts/email notifications on uscis.gov . It's not automatic.

Yea, the online status can be inaccurate.

I have had my green card for 2 years almost and to this day the I-130 status still say initial review :P

Based on what I've read, in concurrent I-130/I-485 applications, the I-130 never gets updated in the online system, and it's always the I-485 that goes to approved. This makes a certain amount of sense, because even though USCIS has to adjudicate the I-130 at the same time as the I-485, perhaps they don't feel the need to update both applications in the notification system.
